Default Anything going on tonight in/near New Braunfels? Car related...

Came into town for the swap meet. Sitting here in the hotel now, bored. Do you all know of any local hang out spots? Car cruise in's, car hangouts? Anything like that?

I'd like to know too. I live right outside New Braunfels and I still don't know of anything to do related to cars. Occasionally I'll see a group of imports with 5 foot tall spoilers and 8" mufflers gather in a parking lot and rev their engines while playing techno music and flashing their neons, but I never see a group of muscle cars gathered.

I wish I would have known about the swap meet. Where was it?

Easiest way to get to the swap meet is exit 189. If you are coming from the South, you will want to take a left under the underpass. Keep going until you hit Commerce. Then go left and you will run right into the swap meet. We got here too late to go today. But we will be there bright and early tomorrow morning.

Is this a car related swap meet? Is there anything LS1 related?

Cool. We will take a ride over there to see what's up. Didn't bring our Ram Air though since we came to buy parts and we can't fit much in it.

Mostly 'vintage parts' (old, rusty and big $$$$) - not much for the modern car enthusiast, but still interesting to walk through. OK entertainment for the $5.00 parking fee.

I either go to biffs in San Antonio and meet there then go to our spot. Or I wonder on down the road to Austin. I see the ricers across HEB every once in a while. And the swap meet is for old school parts. Dont expect to get LS based parts there.
