Default Bought a new intake manifold tongiht.

I have a Edelbrock Performer LS1 Intake Manifold on the way to the house from summit. It is back ordered so it will be a few weeks. Someone on here has a holley 750 carb and MSD 6010 and everything else i need for sale im going to look into picking up next pay check.

Im getting so close. As soon as i find a 700r4 im just about in business. Im just worried about how to mount this beast in my truck.

So you have your regulator with the return in the engine bay? I had a guy pm me, has a holley 750, regulator, and MSD box if he still has it when i get payed im going to take it off his hands

Im thinking about using my stock 1986 fuel pump with a good regulator on it just running a return.

I hope that 700r4 will be built, I had a coupl of them and burned them up with a stock ls1 and ls6 cam. Back then the 700r4 never saw this much power in stock form. Don't settle for anything other than a msd6010 box. The edelbrock box is good but has no provisions for adding your own timing curve. Good luck. Hey Zones! Engine bay Looks nice! Here is my engine bay in my 95 Silverado...

yeah 6010 all the way for me. i want to be able to tune it to get it just right. Id get another transmission, but i need overdrive, i dont want to turn 3k rpm's at 70mph. I will probably throw a stock 700r4 in and possibly throw in the corvette internals and go from there. Then start building one in the garage for when the stock one goes. But i want it on the road as soon as possible.

You can, i used the regulator supplied with my pump and ran a line in place of the stock in tank pump and mounted the fuel pump by the tank in front of the rearend.

Looks good man, you like the custom brackets using the stock alternator on mine? Going to start selling those parts soon.

Man, a guy out here on the north side of Houston just rebuilt my 700R in my wifes 86 TA with a cammed vortec 355 and MAN, he did a hell of a job for 600$, stall was 200(2400-2800) from Ebay and it would work well behind a small cammed 5.3, 5.7,6.0.
