How do you think you get a lifetime guarantee? They buy cheap and in bulk and you buy high!

Snap-on tools are expensive. Plus the guys that sell them off the truck try to give you there "line" to buy their tools. And yes i understand that they make there living from that.

Craftsmen tools have been junk for years. I stopped bothering to exchange by ratchets after they died for the third time. S&K tools > Craftsmen.

The older Craftsman tools weren't too bad and were mostly American made as well.

Yeah craftsman dropped off the edge a while back. My dad has a couple sets of sockets and wrenches, etc, that are craftsman american made and they're alright. The new tools they have (especially the e-volve) are chrome plated pieces of ****.

I only buy from Snap-On and Matco now. I even learned my lesson from Cornwell. The salesmen for those tool trucks DO have to make a living, but they know better than to try to "sell" products to mechanics. If you got a sales pitch, you probably aren't a regular customer. Idk if those 2 companies have their tools made in America, but they're the best of the best. If they're made in china, at least you know a dude in America designed them cause those guys over in China can't design quality anything. And that's proven by looking at all the products they've made that I threw away cause they broke...

If you think thats bad, dont go to Home Depot or Lowe's.

Some craftsman is still made in the US. Its about half chinese, half US manufactured. http://www.stillmadeinusa.com.

If we ever go to war with China, I say we carpet bomb their fkn asses with all their manufactured crap that is sold over here.
