This whole thread has been about bone stock 11' Gt's. In our climate down here those cars stock will be 13 sec cars. No way a 3800lb+ 400ghp car can make consistent sub 12 passes...no way. fact is there will have to be mods on a car "down here" to make sub 13 sec passes.........hiding under a rock...that's funny.

i saw this exact same car @ sar about 3 weeks ago and its best time was 11.4@117,these were his mods at the time

i would say a stock 5.0 is even with a bolton ls1,it will be up to the driver.
bolton to bolton new 5.0 wins out
ls1....350-360rwhp/35500lbs
5.0...405-415/3700

Sounds like you guys need to have a Mustang versus F-Body track day. Create some rules and have some fun. We've done that in the Chicago area and it was hella fun. We did have some sandbaggers with hidden Nitrous but other than that some honest fun between the two groups.
Have someone inspect the cars to make sure they aren't cheating and then go run them. Winners get bragging rights.
But back to the original post. Yeah if a tool puts that on his hood he needs to be taken down hard! I'd make him show up at the track and have 10 cars roast him one after another with video.

Heck, If I still had my old Z28 I'd roll it to Houston and see how his New 5.0 fairs against an old LT1....

look at it this way what can a basic cam only ls1 mph in the 1/4,well thats what a bolton 5.0 can do.
most cam only 6spd with ls6 intakes make anywhere from 390-420,depending on cam size,lts,tuner,dyno
