Will my Ram tow my Camaro???
I am wanting to Tow my car to the track and its a good distance away just incase I brake something. It's a 2004 Dodge Ram singal cab V6 with automatic transmission. I will put a hitch on it if it is capable of towing I have been looking on the internet and can't really find a straight answer. Let me know what you think. I am a little iffy because it is a v6 but don't really know.

The U-Haul car trailers work great, just make sure you jack the front of the trailer up before you load the car or else your bumper might hit the ramps. (with the trailer attached to the truck of course) Your truck should do the job fine, just take it easy and leave it out of overdrive!

"Trev SS" ... here is my '02 coming off of a U-Haul trailer. It fit perfect with no front bumper issues. Just be slow loading and unloading and double and triple check everything before you do it. I paid $108 for a one-way 3-day rental after all of the fees. My local U-Hual dealer said he would do $55 for a one day (am p'up/pm d'off) and he is open 4am-12 midnight 7 days a week for my track days.
As far as your truck, go to the U-Haul website and input your tow vehicle inforamtion and what you are towing and the website will tell you if it will work. My "tow truck" worked great ... see the specs in my signature. It sat down quite a bit because I have rear shackles, but other than that a 3-1/2 hour tow in the pouring rain went fine.
I will post additional photos of it loaded if anyone requests it.

I towed my 24' boat with my 08 Single cab V6 Ram (standard trans). I wasn't winning any drag races with it, but once it got moving it wasn't a problem. Brakes were more than enough. Pulling it out of the lake was a different story altogether
I've used the Uhaul trailers before with my 98 Formula and it fit fine. Position it so there's ample weight on the tongue/rear of the truck.
