LOL, he's really good at tap dancing around it all. He's always been fast for the time. Yes, compared to the scene NOW, his Supra was slow, but not then, it ran really well.
So now, because there is so many 1000rw cars running around, he slow plays his car as "slow" even though it's making over 700rw in a light car. (At least it's light compared to all the heavy tanks being put out today)
His 700rw is still faster than most people will ever go. So slow playing it only makes him look like a bully. lol.

I think 500-700 is a good place to be. Not so fast that everyone is scared to race you but fast enough to win a lot of races. A dyno number doesn't mean anything if you don't know how to use it.

A lot of it has to do with how the car is setup though. I don't have anywhere near 700hp. But it runs good.

I still don't think 1000hp cars are all that common. And the ones that do have that much power I've never seen on the street. Their cars live on jack stands.
I think 500-700 is a good place to be. Not so fast that everyone is scared to race you but fast enough to win a lot of races. A dyno number doesn't mean anything if you don't know how to use it.

My hobby car makes double that, but the reason you dont see those cars is because you cant keep up. Most of the time when they come out to play its setup **** for big bragging rights or money.

i cant hang with the weight /power of your carI thought you would think so. So let's look at the data.
Your car makes 760 and weighs 3700. That puts your hp/weight ratio at 4.86.
Will's car makes 750ish and weighs 4600. That's a ratio of 6.1. Even if Will really has 800hp that's still only a ratio of 5.75.
So tell me again why your car should be slow? Your car should drag the **** out of Will's car. You aren't fooling anyone and should just stop because it looks over humble. You'd be a good run for Vic.

Glad your on top of things haha. But the thrid, well I guess this meet just might have to find out sometime (and no its not me). But you are correct, but what your talking about would be more so for the track than Mexico highways. But power to weight ratio would be a advantage (that is if you have traction with a low curb weight car) but if you have a 1000hp lambo vs a 675hp lambo same body style and all I would bet the 1000hp would come on top everytime no matter how well that 675hp on is set up as highway goes (since that's what this meet is all about). But highway and track is two way different things as I'm sure you of all people know. The old saying goes "if it don't 60" it won't run" as track goes. But highway you got a lot more room for these 88mm and up guys to really move out and nitrous on top of it just cancels out any turbo lag.

How many times have you been out to the Karting place? It was funny I didn't see you racing until after I got my slips and saw your name ahead of mine each time lol. That was my first time out there. I only ran two heats so I could let my son run a couple. I'd like to get into the 73s next time I go out.
