T56 'check out service' ONLY $99!!! We see it too many times...people getting screwed. You just never know the condition of a T56 until it is disassembled and inspected, EVEN IF it was "working fine". This service will be an excellent bargaining tool. I see people paying premium prices for T56s that should be sold as cores.
So, in order to "fix" this problem, we now offer a new service. If you are planning to buy a T56 or you have one and just want it checked out, we will completely disassemble and assess the transmission, then put it back together for $99.
If you decide to get it built at this time, the $99 fee will be applied to the build price.

It amazes me after all these years on the forums I've finally seen a deal like this. Last time I paid for a tear down and look on a 4l60 it cost me $400. Great info since I'm in the market for a t-56

Yes, but we don't do any custom wiring or anything. You'll need the neutral safety switch wiring to the clutch pedal, and backup lights, etc.
We don't deal with any of that. We can install the complete transmission andthe clutch master, etc. $90/hour labor. Since cutting and whatnot is required for the master cylinder and shifter, it can be time consuming. A ballpark figure would be $700-1000 labor.

I wanted to get my vette's t56 freshened when I replace the clutch since it's such a PITA to drop the trans.

Jason, whats the average price to rebuild a T56 to stock specs, and a price to build a t56 to hold up to 500hp? Ive got one just laying in my garage that if it doesnt sell, would like to freshen it up!
