What are you plannin buddy? =P

I would think you could find a longblock cheaper than that. Thats what I would pay for a near complete motor.

Then again I am a super bargain hunter, I'll keep my eye out for ya!

No I have a chance to buy one real cheap. I was going to buy it and put it in the truck or buy it to sell and make a few dollars on it.

I was thinking of selling it for $900. I knew the scrap yard prices were around $1200ish. But I know you can usually get them cheaper here on tech, so I didn't want to buy it and price it near 1k and sit on it forever. I wanted a quick flip if I sell it. I am putting together money to replace the a/c system in my house so anythign I can do to get some extra money i'm all for.

I found my shortblock on ebay for 600, had to drive out to Waco to pick it up but its running good.

I know your looking for a longblock but I don't see the heads being too expensive.

Just make sure you get the right engine you need ie. 24x 58x reluctor or pre'99, cast/alum heads...

I've seen the same short blocks on Ebay, great deal but they are sold out now.

To the OP, if its the newer LS2 style rods I'm interested in buying it.

Picked mine up for 700$ complete. Have seen them go for 500$-1500$, just depends where you look.
