Unhappy I'm moving to TX..worried about emissions testing

I currently live in Northern MN and there is no emission testing here but I am moving to San Antonio TX in May and I've heard they do test down there..So Am I gonna have to return some things back to stock to pass? I heard that you can go to jiffy lube to get tested though..is it possible to just slip somebody some cash to pass it??? any way around it..I have never had to do the testing where I live so I have no idea what to expect. thanks

Do you have cats on your car? I passed emissions with QTP longtubes, high flow cats and a SLP Loudmouth exhaust. I was worried s#!tless about passing emissions too

My Uncle lives on Leach Lake. Good fishing there. Very cold.

I got out of there as soon as I had to start working for a living after school. That has been many years ago. You will like Texas.

dude, welcome to san antonio! could possibly be the most laid back city in texas just get your testing done in the south side! they'll keep your change, but you'll pass.

It's not hard to pass emmisions. Just go to a hole in a wall inspection place. Just make some San Antonio friends on this site and they'll tell you of some places that will hook you up. Just make sure you're not throwing any codes and you'll be alright. I live in houston, so I always go to the mexican rag shops and they hook me up plus it helps that my dad works with (my fellow) mexicans and they tell him of places that will work with me and trust me you have plenty of mexicans in San Antonio. Welcome to Texas. You're going to love the ******* heat here. You're going to wish you were back up north during the summer.

Don't be too worried about passing, remember money makes the world go round. Money can fix almost anything.
