My truck was stolen and wrecked and im pissed!! Last friday my truck was stolen by a couple of 16 year old kids in friendswood they found the truck in the middle of a field and it looked like this...
the funny thing is that the kid told me he did it so i called the cops and filed a report on the two boys when i talked to the cop they told me that they were 16 years old and nothing would happen to them ...the little bastard is still out on the streets ...his ******* dad is a cop so i guess you know what that means...i dont know what to do ive called the police station and this happened 10 days ago and the kid is still not locked up ......what do you think about this ..i would love to beat his *** but then for sure i would wind up in jail on the first night ....

My finance company just called me and said its totaled out....the frame was bent very bad ...the kid said he ran it through a ditch at over 100 mph.....i still have not heard from my insurance company or the cops..

That really does suck man. WTF is that, "my dad is a cop, so I can do whatever the hell I want and get away with it". I'd go to the cops again to see if they can do anything. If I knew who it was that did that, even if it was some 16 year old punk, he would be spitting his teeth out on the street. Of course, again you've got that whole "my dad's a cop" thing to worry about.

Damn that sucks, was that the truck with the heads & cam 5.7?? If the local cops do not do a thing because of the good ole boy system go higher up. Have you spoken with an attorney? I would go as far as the attorny generals office if you feel there is some misconduct because the father is a cop, regardless the law applies to all regardless of you title.

You mean to tell me you made a report and they have not taken action, holy ****, call the internal affairs devision, so what if his dad is a cop, if he admitted he did it why won't they arrest him and charge him with theft. I would raise holy hell, if I knew the person that did this, that is just bullshit, his kid aint above the law.

Just because they may get slapped on the wrist in the end doesn't mean they shouldn't be arrested and charged. Talk to someone higher up in the Dept., someone with some rank. They are more interested in politics and don't want a bad reputation. It's not officer whoever's job to be the judge and jury. He needs to do his job and arrest the little bastards, regardless of who the kids father is. It pisses me off when stuff like this happens. I'm an officer and I don't care if the kid was my next door neighbor, he goes to jail. If they won't do anything, find every way you can to make his life a living hell.

Thats crap that he isnt going to jail. Lawsuit man! Since he is a minor the parents should be liable. I would file suit and hit them in the pocket. At least you will get some money out of it. Maybe his parents will do something to him then if they lose money.
