1: noise vio. (no Muffler)

2: and get this: No Air Induction System........



This all happend thursday night. Me, Cameo, and our 2 good friends were crusing down 1960. When we were getting close to 290 I knew I was getting in the death zone. So I crept, and kept my eyes peeled. At the Light right before 290 minding my own business... Sure enough out of ******* nowhere the "Black Knight" found me... Now take note, I was sitting at a signal... No revving... no speeding.... no nothing.. Just idle... He gets RIGHT UP on my *** and throws on the lights...! son of a bitch.... Thinking to myself, I have been here before and been pulled over by this SOB, I knew my car was "legal" We pull over into a resturant parking lot and he proceeds to get out of his car. I get out of mine, and I asked him..


Me: "what the hell did you pull me over for?"
BN: "SON! THIS CAR IS WAY TO DAMN LOUD!"
BN: "YOU HAVE CATS ON THIS THING?".
Me: "Yes sir... as a matter of fact I do".
BN: "POP THIS HOOD SON WHILE I GO GET MY FLASHLIGHT!".
(popped hood)
BN: "SON WHERE ARE YOU MUFFLERS"!
Me: "I dont have any...".
BN: "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DONT HAVE ANY!?!"
Me: "umm... I dont have any".
BN: "ALLLLLLLLLRIGHT, LETS LOOK UNDER YOUR HOOD"...
BN: "EH LOOKY HERE! YOU DONT HAVE AN AIR INDUCTION SYSTEM!!".
Me: "a what?"
BN: "AN AIR INDUCTION SYSTEM!"
Me: "umm......"
BN: "I AM WRITING YOU UP FOR THAT ALSO"
Me: "well what the hell are you talking about and I will let you know if I have one or not...."
BN: "I DONT NEED TO EXPLAIN THAT TO YOU!"

A supra flys past me about 150mph..... Nothing but turbo....

I look at him... He looks at me....

Me: "So you pulled me over for a noise vio. and you dont pull over speeders?"
BN: "I CAN ONLY GET EM ONE AT A TIME KID"
Me: "eh...so this is more important?"
BN: "YES AS A MATTER OF FACT IT IS"
Me: " "
BN: "You own this car?"
Me: "Do what..? Yes I own this car why?"
BN: "BE RIGHT BACK"

Runs my info... the SOB thinks, I either 1: Stole it... or 2: I am leaching off of daddys money... ******* *****

He walks back to me..

ME: "Listen sir... I have been here before, and you are just wasting your time, I will just get this ticket dismissed and it will save both of us the hassle...How about you just give me a warning and I will be on my way?"

BN: "I cant do that"
ME: "You know unless you have a DB reader.. to DB my car, its your opnion vs mine on how loud my car is. I want you to prove to me that this car is illegal!"
BN: "Here is your ticket"
Me: "This is bullshit... There is no law for noise pollution on a 4lane hwy. ROAD CONSTRUCTION IS LOUDER THIS MY CAR! A MACK TRUCK IS LOUDER THEN MY CAR... A ******* HARELY DAVIDSON IS LOUDER THEN MY CAR! Prove to me this car is illegal and I will gladly pay this ticket!!!!"
BN: "I dont have to prove anything son... I know what I am doing and its my right to pull you over for whatever reason I feel."
Me: "Well that is Bullshit..."
BN: "Love it or hate it, thats the way its going to be"
Me: (in my mind) " YOU MotherFuckerr"

I hate that SOB. I got his name and I am goign to file a complaint on him. This is bullshit, I have to go down to the courthouse yet again, to just get this POS ticket dismissed.

maybe he meant AIR system, Im not sure about the vette setup but I think all f bodys have it (I took mine out btw)
I saw your car last week I think on tuesday, and it did sound pretty cammin/loud, but still that sucks he pulled you over for just sounding loud. Im not to familiar with that area but I guess I need to stay away on nights

nope, i believe the '01 & '02 F-Bodies deleted the A.I.R. system
