DFW...what's your setup?
there's been a lot of talk about the DFW guys lately being behind Houston. it's got me interested/wondering what the level of modification the LS1 cars up here are at. seems like every grama in houston has a heads/cam LS1 car. so what are some of you DFW guys setup on your car? Heads (what kind?) cam (specs?) a4/m6 gears, converter, bottle no bottle etc etc....if you're willing to share your setup then post up.

blue printed, balanced and forged bottom end
cam (no specs for joo)
mac mid length headers, ls6 intake, slp loudmouth, pro 5.0 shifter, spec stage 3 clutch, under drive pulley kit, stock rear end, stock heads
made close to 550whp on 150 shot of n2o with the original motor, new built motor has never had nitrous on it in its 10k life
right around 400whp with 400wtq, but i only have dyno sheets for 378whp 392wtq from the stock motor before the build up. still get 16mpg all city miles and 20+ highway. its my daily and i put over 300 miles a week on it

1 3/4 - 1 7/8 Stepped Kooks - ORY. GMMG catback, when it gets fixed. LS6 intake. FIPK. Self-ported TB. Moser 9" w/3.89s full spool. LCAs.
F13 kit waitin to get installed, as well as a March pulley. May have heads in a month or two, we'll see. Depends on how quick the Army pays out.
The 235/240 is a beautiful cam, but I definitely agree with Matt. You need an LS6 intake to let 'er breath. Also, get your tb ported.

i guess i should have put some info on my car....it's an 01 Z28 iron block motor, 6.0L heads (DART heads after they're released), Edelbrock EFI manifold port matched to the heads. heads and intake porting hasn't been done yet. NX gemini plate nitrous kit, th400, 9", wolfe cage, through the floors, swaybar and torque arm. neal chance converter, profab motor plate k-member and lower a-arms, SQR motor plate/mid plate. the car is a LONNNNNGGGGGGG way from completed but that's the plan and it'll be done in due time. parts highlighted in red havn't been bought yet.
