Those things were factory rated at 170HP/225TQ, makes the LB9 305 TPI seem like a monster, in 90 after speed density was rated at 230HP/300TQ. The big bad L98 had it beat 245HP but a impresive 345TQ at 3200rpm, evidently thats probably where a TPI also stops making power lol

My buddy has an 86 TA with a 305 TPI, that car has gone through 3 305s, soon to be on 4 and he continues to rebuild the 305 and not swap in a 350.

Longblock, shortblock or just a block?
I have a couple SBC 350 & a couple of SBC 400 blocks.... and a 6.0L block in the garage right now. Just the blocks though.
