Looks like I can have it fixed pretty quick with a brand new one, also under warrenty. I am sure it will just break again though. So I am looking into getting a billet input shaft made.

damn, that's a quick neon.

Not really a fair comparison IMHO.

If you wanna compare do apple to apples and oranges to oranges.

Short block V8 vs. another V8, not a 4 banger with mods coming out the whazoo JUST to get to the C6 Z06 which is 450 stock at the wheels (correct me if I'm wrong, but the advertised '07 Z06's were 505 hp at the crank right and with loss through the drive shaft to the wheels will knock it down to mid to upper 400's?).

IF you want a real comparision, go race a honda civic or another Neon.

my car is the '04Z06 with a LS2 403. im also still running stock cast manifolds, h pipe and cats thru corsa cat back. im probably going to pick up a set of ARH 1 7/8 without cats really soon. my car is a daily driver with 55k miles on it and it pulls over 34mpg on the highway!!!

the reason i pulled back in the 3rd video is some POS pulled right out into my lane from lane from the ramp.

dude fast is fast it doesnt matter. my friend allen sturgeon has a 603 front wheel hp civic that runs on E85 alternative fuel!! im sure he will run low 10's.

my '04 Z06 isnt even an apples to apples comparison.

he paid 80k for his '07. i paid 45,800 for mine and 13k for the 403 built, installed and tuned.

apples to apples cost wise it doesnt exist. apples to apples horse power, weight, gearing, aerodynamics, driver are all the factors here. we all had 1 passenger as well.

Fast Neon, thats for sure. BUT I do have to point out a few things.

The races with the "427ci C6 ZO6" (didn't know they had other motor options) it looked like the ZO6 had no idea when the race was to start. And proof of that is the difference between the two races, first one you sucker punched him in the face and you were gone. Second race was ALOT closer.
There was no 3 honk racing with the C6 ZO6.......427ci optioned car. lol

The C5 ZO6 race I did hear some honks and again was alot closer then stealing the move, but you were a car out to start with. You can see him on the other side of that one car in the middle lane and ZO6 in the slow lane.
In that race though pulls a car back on you, slow shifts and lets out. That race was like 4 seconds! lol

Not trying to jump your ****, just pointing out some things in this vid. Very fast car you have for sure and props to it. Get that input shaft fixed and make some more vids. I'd like to see it on race gas, sure its a monster!

Peace,
Craig.
