that's awesome! we just had our dyno day yesterday and my friend owns an 01 SOM z28 that is COMPLETELY bone stock that ran an exact 12.9 at the track...he put down 326 hp and somewhere over 345 lbs of tq. i guess he just got lucky with a strong ls1 ...lucky dog!

here's mine. we dyno'd yesterday. only thing i have is magnaflow catback and slp lid... 307 hp and 326tq

I don't know about the highest, my buddy made 340ish with all the bolt ons, and I'm sure there are guys out there that make more. Anything can happen dude.

What is comparing dynos going to prove though? We all know the LS1 cars make more power. That's not what's got everyone freaking out. Everyone's losing it cause they just found out machs can be as fast as LS1's stock for stock.

Wrong and wrong. Stock LS1s dyno over 300hp all the time. And a Camaro, depending on options, can weigh the same or less than a Mach.

It's not going to kill you, but I'd get a tune asap. Not to mention the power you stand to gain by getting one.

Some cars do, most are 01 and up cars with the LS6 intake. 98-00 cars especially autos will never see 290+. There are freaks like the one mentioned above, but with every one of those there is one that is the opposite of a freak. These "turd" cars or lemons you can find at your local drags running low 14's at 100. Same with the stangs, but just cause one makes outrageous power doesn't mean they all do.

Also, I can't speak for Machs cause I've never owned one, but my old iron block 01 GT weighed 3250 wet. (Stock) I've never seen a F-Body even a 1LE car weight anything near that stock.

that mach one dyno sheet from above is WAY to high for a stock car...I ,and every ls1 i've at dyno days must be "freaks" b/c I have never seen 290rwhp unless it was fully built mustang turning the rollers

yeah, your def lean. But, depends on where they put the wideband also. Alot of places use a sniffer, and they arent exactly accurate. My car tuned, is setup for 12.9-13.0 at WOT. Your 13.4 is abit lean forsure!

No more than the Vette guys have to take up for you. And if you had read I was referring to the fact that the dyno poster never said he was stock, someone just wanted to see a mach dyno graph so he posted his. His sig says bolt-ons.

As far as taking up for mach1's goes, Hell they are slow as ****, I'm just saying they are just as fast as a stock LS1 in most case's.

thats exactly what my o2 m6 dynoed with my lid and slp catback before my h/c.
