Sorry I haven't gotten back in a while...
Were gonna start painting this Saturday, the hood, trunk lid and spoiler all going white with red stripes like original colors. To those PMing me for trades... would have to be something nice with an Automatic since it'll be me and my dad driving it around and he fucked up his ankle pretty damn bad when he was working at Kelly AFB. So no manual clutch for him... And I'll get pics as soon as I get my camera back today from my buddies!

Might be interested in trading for a A4 C5 with low miles and bolt ons...

If this really is a low mile RS/Z28 DZ302 car with the original motor and its a solid car then don't touch it. There are people that would pay large $$ for that car as is or trade for a Vette if you wanted. You can buy another 69 and build a PT car out of it. Once you start hacking on that one you can't go back.

Yeah its all original RS/Z28 with the DZ302. My dad even kept the original build sheet. No rollover miles... 34,000 miles.

Just make sure you repaint it with number matching paint. You want it to look as original as possible, its well worth it.

I've got a 69 convertible but its a 4 speed. Easy to change though.
It's in the body shop now but I can light a fire under the owners (bodyshop) tail and get it done.

There are only so many of these cars around in the condition you describe. By changing it from stock you are doing a crime (IMHO).

If you really want a vette. Sell it for what it is worth and put that money towards a vette. Done.

If you repaint it stock (Imean truly stock) you are fine.

Please don't ruin this car.

You would have to be either a moron or too rich to care about tens of thousands of dollars to modify that thing.

The car can only be original once, don't do the pro-touring/resto-mod crap.

Yea, that car is too rare as it sits to mess with. Find one on Ebay or something to build. That car could be your retirement plan.

For the love of all that is holy and sweet.....do not butcher this car by doing that. Sell it to someone that will restore it to original and go buy another car that isn't a real rs/z28.

If you really want to sell it for what it is worth and get a C5 or something PM me. I know a couple of guys into classic cars (original). One of them has had 2 top flight mid year Corvette's and has an all original low mileage 61 Corvette. He would be able to help find someone who knows what that is worth and would truly appreciate it.

I would KILL to have that car, literally. Leave it original! As said before if you want something to mod, buy a beater or similar and fix that up.

BTW, As I sit here looking at my AR-15, what's your address? J/K!

you say that you guys don't have a lot of money to get a different car? that's really easy to fix.

just freshen this one up to "like-new" condition, with all factory-replacement stuff, then sell it to some collector for an ***-LOAD of cash...you'd be surprised how much cars in that kind of condition, and with all the documentation like what you have, can sell for.

then once you're rich off the sale, go find another car that's already been modified and non-original to do whatever you want with it. you should have plenty of cash to do this once the original one is sold.

What's an AR-15? A Fighter jet? Haha.

The only thing wrong with the car is that it has been sitting since 78. So I dunno what all would be involved in getting it back up to par. Sorry about the late pics too, they're coming.

take pics of the firewall cowl ID tag too, it is the metal plate attached to the firewall just above the brake booster. I'd like to see the info there.

PM me an asking price, I always have cash for the right car
