An AR-15 is a type of assault rifle, hence the AR. Anyway you will probably have to change a lot with the engine. Letting an engine sit since 78 is not a good thing. It would have been smart to at least start it up and let it run once a week so that the fluids and everything can pass through it. Now youre going to have to change belts, hoses, spark plugs, wiring maybe, drain the thing of all fluids, refill it with all fluids, and then pray it starts.

If you do decide to modify this car away from its stock condition you should be hit on the head with a tack hammer because you are a retard.

The people who want this car will pay more as is now. There are certain markings and other things that don't need to be disturbed. Even if you paint it the original color and sell it its worth less.

I'll trade him my 69 SS clone for the Z28 straight up, it a 350/350 car(if it's in good condition and numbers matching), will need pics of the cowl tag, VIN plate on the dash, engine casting number, engine ID on the front of the block, carb tag, intake manifold casting and date numbers, head casting numbers, tranny tag, rear end codes. Mine is nice but not original or numbers matching and would be perfect for a pro touring car. If your dad changes it to anything other than factory stock he needs to have his head examined. Go to www.camaros.net and ask that same question and see what they say, lol. There aren't many "ORIGINAL NUMBERS MATCHING" 1st gens left, pro touring Camaros are far more common. Leave it STOCK, STOCK, STOCK !!!!!!!!!!

How do I find out where it was built? Will it say somewhere on the papers? And what's a broadcast sheet?
