Default For Sale Or Trade: '03 F150 4x4 w/9" Lift

My friend is tryin' to get rid of his '03 Ford F150. He has had it no longer then 3 months. It has the v8 engine with less then 90K on it, auto transmission, 6" Fabtech susp. lift kit, 3" Performance Accessories body lift kit, 37" Mickey Thompson MTZ tires, 20" American Racing teflon coated rims (black), full Memphis audio system, Flowmaster exhaust. Truck is white in color, extended cab, sport 4x4. Has cloth interior, power everything, ac and heat work great. Has some engine mods. Also has a full replacement ranch hand front bumper and side steps. No accidents, clear title in hand. The lift, tires and rims have less then 3K miles on them. Thats about all I know about the truck. I will let ya'll know of anything else as soon as I get ahold of him this weekend. He is wanting a '98+ Trans Am. I'm going to have the truck this Saturday and can take pics if anyone is interested in a trade. He is asking $16,000 for the truck the way it's sitting. Let me know something. Thanks, Ryan.

ya I know what your saying... He has an actual 4 door supercrew right now... but wanted a diff color and lifted... He would prefer the 04+ body style, but he's been looking for a truck for months so he might take something he doesnt necessarily want.

Well I'll send you some pics as soon as I get ahold of the truck. It's ******' nice dude! My friend paid like $18,000 for the truck when he first bought it, and that doesn't include all the extras. I know the wheels/tires were like $4,000 alone, suspension lit was around $1500... Anyone who knows 4x4 suspensions knows that Fabtech isn't cheap. The system was about $1500. I'll get all the receipts and give the full details on the truck. I'm sure he will take like $14,500. I'll let you know something.

What do you mean by gas-er? If your asking if it eats alot of gas, the truck gets around 17mpg on the highway. If your asking if it's a gas engine, your correct!

I have an F350 that I would sale for the right price... Na I couldn't sale it, my Dad gave it to me for my graduation gift... Had it since July of '99. Anyways, I'm takin' that nobody is interested in the F150. My friend asked me about taking the truck to Carmax. Anyone ever taken their vehicle there and sold it to them? I told him they wouldn't give him what he probably wanted considering the truck has a lift, tires/wheels, stereo system, etc.

i've heard all kind of mixed reviews about Carmax. When i took my ex to sell her 96 F150, they gave her $1700 more than the highest trade in value from the dealers.

I was actually going to pick the truck up today and bring it home, but my friend had to leave out of town till next Thursday or so and he took the keys with him. His girlfriend had a spare key, but she was at work so I didn't even bother to go and try to pick it up. I'm goin' to try this Thursday though. I'll also try and get some pics as soon as I can.

i cant tell you what their criteria is. bottom line is that they offered more than any other dealer w/o having to purchase a car from them.
