Default Where can I purchase locally (Houston) VP C12/C14 racing fuel?

I need some VP C12/C14 and was wondering where I could purchase it locally in the Houston area. Preferably on the south side. Thanks.

I think that's a bit much for me. I really need C12, but I was going to try some C14 out to be on the conservative side.

Ahh come on, if your gonna build a race car then use some real race fuel!!

Have you tried Hops in Santa Fe? They are usually high but close to our area.

My dad buys race fuel at a place right down the road, I think its in santa fe, called "Hops" but I'll confirm with him. He gets C16 usually if I'm not mistaken, picked me some VP up yesterday as well.

I buy my 109 there but havent bought any leaded fuel from them. I know they have it though. I just pick up mine at 5 gallons at a time just to clean out the fuel system.

I called the other day and they only they carried was 100 octane. At the time I was asking for unleaded, but maybe they have more of a selection on leaded fuels.

I called again, but this time I spoke with a lady, and yes, they do carry C12 ($7.50 a gal.) and C14 ($9.50). What did I get myself into?

Yep, that stuff's not cheap. That's why I built my jetboat engine to run on 93. Seeing the other guys use up a drum of C14 ($450) a weekend wasn't my idea of fun.

If you're talking about the Lee Oil on 35 that used to be Chevron, I just called them and they don't sell VP fuels. All they have is Track Tech (sp?) 111.

Theres AJs Racing Fuels on Sheldon road in Channel View about a mile north of I-10 on the left not too far from either track. It's a little out of your way, I work there at Lyondell 1/4 mile away and pass bye it everyday not sure what they have. I know it's not the south side of town but hope that helps.

I dont know what kind of motor you have but 111 is pretty high octane gas! if you are running all motor you need a oxygen enriched fuel. for turbo, blower ,n20 non oxygenated fuel is what you need.I would think with a set of tr6s-tr8s you could run 111 on a 14.0-1 motor or less just fine.

If you are on the North Side of Town Smiley's in The Woodlands has C12/C14. It is on Sawdust about 3 miles west of 1-45.
