I really like the Ferrari style wheels, they look great. Hopefully the body will have more unique features to set it apart, that is the most common gripe from current Z06 owners is that the car doesn't stand out visually enough from the base C6. Original ZR-1 Vettes were wider, had wider tires, etc.. I'd like to see a revised tail panel, different tail lights, more aggressive hood, and possibly larger side scoops.

In 1995, when the ZR1 ceased production a magazine titled the article "Farewell to the King," well by all accounts the King is back! I'm excited to see this car come back, I remember when I was a little kid drooling over Ferrari F40s and ZR1s. This makes me want a C6 so bad!

Notice how they covered the clear section of the hood with tape? (Look at the underside pic). Looks like they taped up all the unique parts of the body that sets it apart from a standard C6. Those carbon brakes are sick!

*6.2 liter LS3 forged w/ twin screw in the valley area and intercooler on top of it w/ engine cover on top of it all.
*Carbon ceramic brakes and calipers by Brembo (huge deal)
*Custom Michelin runflat tires, 335/25/R20 rears
*Hood will have clear opening, fenders are different too.
*GM head honchos quoted as saying, "Cars fly at 200 mph, no the body isn't production, well some of it."
So... what we're seeing is still a mule... we'll see the read deal at Detroit.

Ok... so what was the Ford GT... where was GM's answer to that back then? And wait and see what dodge has up their sleeve in response to the ZR-1. They have a bigger motor... I'd hate to see what happens if they deliver factory twin turbos on that 8.4 liter monster.

You are a ******* idiot if you argue that that wheel ^ is not inside of the new wheels design. Open your eyes christ...and yes it has 20 spokes compared to ten original ones. The wheels is the c6 z06 wheel merged with another split 10 spoke wheel that is slightly different and could almost be called the c5 z06 style. I would love for you to try and make an argument out of something that obvious...

I completely agree. They may have gotten the similarity of it from the c6z wheel for the longer of the ten spokes but in no way from an design standpoint did they use the original design and add ten spokes to it to make 20. they started completely fresh and you can tell with the updated look around the lugnuts/center of the wheel.
