Default Matt YankeeR6 Benefit Fellow Car/bike enthusiast

Well this sucks to have to post this, on Oct 13th me and some friends were out riding here in Houston, Texas. My best friend was killed in a motorcycle accident. He rode a 06 R6 anniversary edition. I have the same bike and Raven edition. He stood in my wedding not three weeks before this accident. Matt "YankeeR6" which is a board member here and on Motohouston.com was well liked and a big part of our community. He will be misse by all his family and friends, he was born on 12/2/80 to 10/13/07. He was very family oriented person, especially when it came to his nephews. Austin was born with "hydrocephalus", which is water on the brain. Hydrocephalus has made it so Austin’s brain will not fully develop. He is confined to a wheelchair and can only stand and walk with assistance. He has already had many surgeries, and will still have surgeries every 6 months till he stops growing for his back problems. Matt would have wanted us to help assist his family in the raising of Austin and mounting medical expense. So in Matts Legacy we are going to make a memorial ride, and donate all proceeds to the family to aid in Austin’s raising medical expenses and to help provide that care that Matt would have wanted.

I attached the band pics. If you want to donate please do so by paypal and we will have them mailed to you, the bands are $6. You can send the money to paypal e-mail JonEric0430@hotmail.com

All help is appreciated. as I sure would rather not have to make this post.

We miss you matt "yankeeR6"

Thanks
Jet

Hey I posted this on HPD hope that everyone is able to come out this next tue to La Hacienda. We will announce the prizes for the raffel and the arm bands will be sold there for $5 a piece. The prizes are a 50cc mini bike, set of tires, powder coating, and many more. We are raising all the money for Matts nephew, that has hydrocycflas sp?, Matts sister will also be attending.

Matts dad went out and got YankeeR6 lic plate for his big old 64 caddy that will be leading the memorial ride.

Thanks Josh, I appreciate the sticky. It has been a rough month since this accident has happend. I am just trying to help where he is not going to be here to help his nephews. I know that he would have done this for anyone of us, and I am and will do everything I can to help raise money to help in the future of his nephew.

Thanks again

Yep, it sucks so bad. He was a good friend to a TON of people. I miss Matt so much and his smile and bear hugs. He not 3 weeks prior was in my wedding. Matt was a very special person, there is and will never be anyone as special as he was.
