Yes, it sure is. But, your hometown is your hometown, you know? There are a handful of LS cars in the area (Amarillo, etc.) and more hot rods than you'd expect. I don't think anybody is going to fault you for not driving up from Houston, although I hope my brother will be.

You're gonna call me a giner, but I just realized that me and the Ms are doing our 1-yr on that weekend. I'm pretty sure I won't be able to cancel that; CRAP!

Aren't you originally from Pampa or that area? I think I remember you saying something along those lines.

If you are from there just tell the Misses that you want to take her out of town for the weekend to your hometown. It's a small, cozy little village with a very nice population! LOL

Yeah, born and raised, I need to work that out if possible.

I'm not sure that I could use that to convince her to go, it's gonna be a shocker taking her from 6,000,000 to 17,000.

Suit yourself. But you forfeit the title of fastest car in the family by not showing up. You'll have to live with me telling everyone at Christmas that you chickened out of the race. I don't think the parentals' 4.6 will put up much of a fight, but I thought you mike be able to take me based on your tires and my lack thereof.
