the problem is you need a lift to be able to use them. Picked them up last week ( $179 ), 10 ton capacity, low height 28", high height 47".

My question is, if you have a lift, what do you need jack stands for in the first place.

If I wanted to raise the tires off the platform I needed to slide the jack tray and use my small hydraulic jack, then place a safety stands on the jack tray. With the large jack stands I can just place the stands under the sway bar brackets ( rear ) and slowly lower the lift, I have the stands set to where the car is at a comfortable working position...and the lift is in the lock position. For the front I need to go to the steel yard and get some 4x4 tubing and add jack pads at the ends, I'll place the tubing under the lower control arms with the tubing resting on the stands. I'll fab up some type of locking devise so the tubing won't move while I'm lowering the lift. Sorry if I didn't explain well enough, I know what I'm doing but it's hard to explain it.

Andy, thanks for compliment on the trailer, it's a two place motorcycle trailer... but cycles as of yet.
