Telescoping Metal Tube

Telescoping Metal Tube
I'm trying to fab up a replica of a Jottodesk but I'm having trouble finding a telescopic metal rod like they use. All I can find when I look through google is fishing pole accessories.
This is a link to what I'm talking about.

The rest of it would be cake to fab, I'd just rather go ahead and buy a matched rod and tube with the threaded bung for the adjustment screw.
A point in the right direction would be appreciated.

go to aircraftspruce.com and look at the chromoly tube they have.
They have complete tube dimensions both inside and outside and I think you can order it by the foot with no cutting charge. You don't need chromoly but there are more varieties available and for as little as you need the price won't be a big deal
See if you can get a .pdf of the paper catalog - it may not have all the details on the web version.
You should be able to find what you want there.
There is another place I've seen telescoping tube and that was The Chassis Shop. I think they are chassisshop.com
