Default Armed Forces section?

Hey, i was just wondering if it would be possible to add an Armed Forces section t oshow support for those always away from there homes and familys. Kinda of a place for the deployed and homeward members to chat about the countries they've traveled to and how the ystay bussy so far away.

I think it would be nice, because i know myself, ONYX, heffdaddy007, and alot more guys spend there free time on this site no matter how far away the may go. Shoot, i think i was actually on LS1Tech more when i was bouncing around Europe than when I'm home.

Even when most of my posts didnt make sence.

I spend an inordinate amount of time here. Lately I've been scarce with the upcoming rotations and preparations for it, but most defianately I would read-along.

I agree coming to web sites like ls1tech when deployed takes your mind off things and brings you back to something we all enjoy.. Having a section brings the military community together {past and present }and those who show support for are troops..

Now's that's a great idea! I know it must be terrible being away from your home/families , plus I'm sure getting shot at ain't all that much fun ,either. Anything tthat can help to make it go away for even just a few minutes has to be really a good thing . My vote is a deafening Hell Yeah! Support our troops!

Just pointing out that the political section was removed several weeks ago... So if an Armed Forces section is created, the staff will probably want to keep the politics discussion to a minimum in it.

I think it would be similar to a regional section.. It would be just like any other section, it would need to be moderated.. v
