Engine was replaced in oct 05 by Mike Norris due to a spun bearing in the old engine. This was done with 98k miles on the odometer; the replacement engine had 67k miles when it went in. The engine has approximately 84k miles on it.
CAI w/K&N Filter
LS6 intake (Was on the car when I bought it)
Hardened Pushrods (Purchased from Murray’s Speed Shop)
LS7 lifters (From Texas Speed)
LS2 Timing Chain (From Texas Speed)
Bosch 36lb injectors (Purchased used and had them checked out locally before installed)
MTI G1 cam 228/232 113+4 (Was on the car when I bought it, installed by Mike Norris)
Texas Speed LS6 stage 1.0 heads milled to 59cc (Installed early 2009)
Also during head swap I installed the following:
Under drive pulley
New valve springs, seals and retainers (came installed on heads)
Lingenfelter high volume oil pump
Had to put on updated valve covers and coil brackets for the ls6 heads
Installed LS2 timing chain and LS7 lifters.
Pacesetter coated long tubes (Was on the car when I bought it, installed by Mike Norris)
Magnaflow catback (Was on the car when I bought it, installed by Mike Norris
QP 9" housing and aluminum 3rd member 4.11’s (Installed mid last year ~6/09)
BMR subframe connectors (Was on the car when I bought it)
BMR torque arm, lower control arms and adjustable panhard bar (Installed along with 9”)
Powerslot front brake rotors w/ Hawk performance brake pads (all around),
Pro 5.0 short stick
LS6 Z06 clutch
Chrome C5 Z06 wheels (not OE)
275/35/18 on all fours with 6/32 tread left
Just got tuned a month or so ago @ Mike Norris (before 9")
440/411 STD
Interior in good shape
A/C works great
Cruise Control
Just replaced drivers side headlight motor gear
Replaced A/C tensioner and idler pulley
Car runs great, never had any problems with it.
Haven’t taken it to the drag strip since I first got it (before most of the mods)
This isn’t my daily driver and it is kept in the garage.
Paint is pretty good, couple chips and dings, nothing unusual for 1998 car.
The interior is also in very good shape for a 1998 car.
Buying a house so I’d like to free up some money
