LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

There comes a time when it’s time to move on. For me, I’m ready to move on to some other project. This car is a one of a kind in my book. I’ve owned the car since 2002 and daily drove it for the first 4 years that I owned it. I have since only put 8k miles on it in the past 4 years.

The car is garage kept and has been adult driven. I take it to the track maybe twice a year for car club events to shake out the cobwebs. I occasionally drive it to work in bumper to bumper Atlanta traffic with zero issues.

About the car:
It’s a 1998 Pontiac Formula, Silver, 6 Speed with a WS6 hood, and Fikse FM5 rims. It has an LS2 402 that was built by Vengeance Racing 4 years ago (less than 8k miles on the new motor). I have the receipts from the build and dyno sheets. The car put down 520rwhp and 492rwtq with a lot under the curve. It has ran a best of 11.42 at 124mph with me granny shifting the car and launching easy. It is very capable of 10’s. I built the car to be a badass street car and a weekend cruiser. The car has been maintained by the book. The speedo shows 137K miles, but just about everything on the car is new. All parts have less than 8k miles on them.

Here's a breakdown from memory of everything that’s been a performance upgrade or changed:

Engine:
Vengeance Racing LS2 402 Stroker (Forged rods, crank and pistons)
TEA AFR Stage 3 Heads
Comp 598/598 244/244 114
LS6 Ported Oil Pump
Ported Fast 90/90
ARP bolts were used throughout the motor
Racetronix 36lb Injectors
Racetronix in-tank fuel pump
New everything: wiring harness, water pump, AC Compressor, AC Condensor, Alt, the only thing that's still original is the fuel rails and the power steering pump.

Drivetrain:
T56 Conversion
Spartan Stage 5 T56
Textrailia Clutch
Pro 5.0 Shifter
New Adjustable Master
New Slave
Moser 12 bolt w/ 4/10

Suspension:
Spohn Chrome moly Adj LCA's
Spohn LCA Relocation brackets
Spohn Chrome Moly adj panhard bar
Strano Lowering Springs
Bilstein Shocks
Edelbrock Adj Torque Arm
BMR Sub-frame Connectors
Cross Drilled & Slotted Rotors with Hawk HPS pads
I recently put a new rack and pinion on the car with new ball joints. The only thing that is original in the suspension is the K member, A arms, and sway bars. I was going to replace the sway bars next.

Exhaust:
Pacesetter Ceramic coated long-tube headers
Pacesetter 3” ORY
Magnaflow Cat-back

Exterior:
WS6 Hood
Fikse FM5 Rims 17x9.5 all around

Interior:
Trans Am leather seats (very low miles on these, they look new)
Dual Pillar Pod with Autometer Fuel Pressure and Wideband O2 Gauges
Eclipse CDN3050 CD/MP3/iPod with Bluetooth
Memphis 400 watt amp and crossover with 1 Memphis 10 in a stealth box

The car drives like a dream, handles well, and can still cut a good 60. I've invested well over $20k in upgrades not including the cost of the car.

The buyer will also get the stock rims (4) and a set of ET streets mounted on another set of stock wheels (2 additional) for a total of 6 wheels.

NEW LOWER PRICE:
$13,500 FIRM with Extra Wheels
$13,000 FIRM without Extra Wheels

UPDATED - I added some more photos for everyone that has asked. Sorry for the light, it was dark outside. I'm also working on a video tour of the vehicle.

The 600+ comes from the rwhp numbers being converted to flywheel hp. Since the engine was never dyno'd it's hard to say what the actual flywheel hp is. If you use 15% loss, you get 612, 18%- 634. Different people use different loss percentages and it was easier to say 600+. Make sense?

Aluminum. It's an LS2 block and conversion.

Not specifically, but I was told that if I ever wanted to spray it that I could. I was told that it could handle a 150-200 shot with no problems.

Price changed....I'm wanting to get this sold. Changed price to $13,500. I know that sounds like a lot, but consider the time, effort and cost associated with getting a car to this point and that is a steal. I paid more than that just for the motor.

The mileage means nothing at this point. Everything on the car is new except for the body and interior, which I might add are in excellent shape. You wouldn't know this was a 98 by looking at it. People are shocked when I say it's a 98. It looks better than most 2002's with 1/2 the miles.

I hate to see the car go Joe, but I definitely understand it being time to move on to another project.

For anyone interested in the car, I've got first hand knowledge that this car is worth above and beyond every penny of the asking price. The owner is EXTREMELY meticulous about it.

Thanks for the kind words Josh. It's bittersweet. I've had it for a long time and put a lot of time and money into it. I'll definitely miss it.
