Hello, trying to see if I would get any interest in my project I have been working on over the past few years. Here are some of the major details. If anyone has any questions let me know.
1998 Silverado-short bed, standard cab
LS1 with 6 speed out of a 98 Firehawk.
Lowered 4" up front 6" in the rear. drop spindles, and lowering springs up front and flip kit in the rear.
Suspension- All new bushings in suspension, and A-arms, new balljoints, lowering shocks, and a $400 set of Cal-Tracs traction bars in the rear to eliminate wheel hop and help traction.
Wheels- Boyd Cottington 17" billet wheels w/Nitto tires- tread is probably 90%
Brakes- All new rubber lines, new drums, hardware, shoes, and wheel cylinders in the rear. New rotors, calipers, and pads up front.
Body-Truck has been completely dis-assembled and repainted. (less than 1 year old) Its been inside my garage since I have owned it. Shaved door handles with AVS kit. Emergency release kit in case battery dies. Shaved and relocated tailgate handle, welded in steel roll pan with hole for hitch if one is added later. Cervintis fiberglass SS hood, fiberglass bed cover, brake lights were welded in and replaced with Caddy tail lights. HID headlights, LED parking lamps and turn signals.
Rear End Stock truck rear, with 4.11 gears and after market posi unit.
Interior- Autometer Pro Comp gauges. (all work and accurate including fuel level) New carpet, and seat are also from firehawk motor and trans came out of. Alpine DVD player with Polk MOMO 6.5 components in doors. Windows were just tinted with 20% about 2 months ago. All new weatherstripping, new windshield, INTERIOR NEEDS SOME FINISHING WORK. AC needs to be hooked up. I have a 3rd gen style compressor and brakets. I also have the stock compressor and there are companies that make a braket kit to use this compressor also. The bed also needs either a spray in liner, paint, or a bed rug kit. besides this the truck runs great, and is very fun to drive and gets lots of looks!
Asking $8000.00-

Not sure how many are on the truck. But thats one reason I replaced all the brake and suspension stuff. The engine and trans were in the truck and I think he told me it had around 60,000 miles. I probably have not driven the truck over 1000 miles since I purchased.
What do you have? PM me, and I will let you know.

I have not had any issues with the truck. Ive mostly driven around town, one trip to Cedar Key and back last year. It runs great, runs cool, always starts, has good oil pressure, no funny noises or anything. One thing I have been wanting to change is the fans are running off a toggle switch right now. I bought a nice kit to run them off a thermostat thats adjustable. I will also give this to the buyer.

Im in Ocala as well. I have a 00 LS1 camaro. I love my car but i need a truck. Im very interested in yours. I always wanted a S10 or blazer with a LS1. Im not against the fullsize single cab though. I am waiting on the closing of my new house before i can purchase anything else. This is due to the fact that i will probably get a loan for the truck if i were to buy it. I close on the 30th of September. If you still have the truck I would like to come have a look at it.
