there is something wrong with that 1997 is 30th, 1999 is 32nd which means absolutely nothing, people on this site are not dumb enough to believe that! i can't even believe you would post that here!

You're an idiot. 1999 was the 30th Ann. for Trans Ams. First year of the TA was 1969, while the first year of the F-body (Camaro and Firebird) was 1967.

The only thing "wrong" is the fact that his horrendous ebay site locks up my laptop with its background and all that trash.

Trust me he is not joking. This is not the first time I've heard this argument. I own a 30th and a Collector's Edition. You would not believe how many people think they are the only ones that can count.

I may be new to this site and not so up-to-speed on these newer F-bodies, but this 'anniversary' thing confuses me. I realize that the t/a was introduced in '69 which would make this '99 a 30th anniversary. But 2 threads up, this same seller has an '02 listed as a 35th anniversary. I may have failed gr.12 math but 99+5 does not equal '02.
Can anybody explain please?

The 1999 trans am anniversary car was the 30th anniversary.....1969-1999.

The firebird itself has been since 67 which would make a 2002, 35 years.

The 30th anniversary camaro would be the 1997 model and the 35th anniversary camaro was made in 2002.

Hope this helps.
