2000 WS6 White M6 42k miles Modded
found a nice C6 I want so selling this car and my C5 Z06 to fund purchase
Serious inquires to jcook84889@insightbb.com
2000 WS6-yes it's real NOT a clone, Ram air TA. M6. 42k miles good to very good overall condition. Some chips in front bumper that's pretty common in cars around here from all the damm gravel and such on the roads IL doesnt' care to clean up . Body otherwise straight, no damage to report. Interior GREAT! Black leather in excellent condition. T-tops excellent shape, no leaks, window motors work great.
Mods:
Patriot 5.3 heads stage II porting gold springs
TSP 231/237 cam
LS6 intake
FMS #30 injectors
Madwolf Tune-could use proper dyno tune to maximize gains, haven't had a chance yet
Mac headers and offroad Y(some surface rust a bit)
Magnaflow cat back(sounds great)
SLP lid
K&N filter
ported stock TB
Motor should be making 425 rwhp when tuned up
poly motor/trans/tq arm mounts
Hurst shifter
Have a set of Eibach sport line springs that will go with car, not installed yet. IMO car will need new shocks soon.
Alpine 9813 deck
Infinity door speakers
Alpine rear speakers
2x 10 Infinity Kappa perfect VDQ subs
1-Infinity 1300W amp
Over $1400 in stereo stuff including
pass and drivers stealth sub boxes and amp rack from subthump. Not cheap crap.
Car needs: A bit of a tune, runs fine now, but I think there is some power to be gained and some edges smoothed out in power off idle in a tune.
Will trip P0327 codes which if front knock sensor. I have replaced the sensors and the wiring harness, but occasionally will still trip code. Not sure what's going on here. I've got so much time/effort in this car I'm just sick of working on it now. Motor runs fine, but this is a gremlin I've been chasing that I'm sick of.
Polished WS6 rims, stripped clearcoat off for better look. Michelin Pilot sport tires with good tread all around. Tinted windows.
Spare set of Speedline 2001-2002 rims in boxes may or may not go with car depending on sale price.
Overall I'd say this car is a 7 or 8 out of 10. I'm pretty picky about cars so please consider this. Docking for the chips, and the knock sensor gremlin. Otherwise car is a steal IMO for what I'm asking.
$15800
car is in North central IL
about 1.5hrs NW or Chicago.

will get pics up later
one other thing to add
there's a crack in the upper part of the drivers door panel sort of where the lock would be on an older 70's car. Not sure what happened, but it was over winter storage, so maybe plastic got cold and cracked. Just in upper part and doesn't effect anything other than it's there. Just wanna be upfront. Pics in the next day or so
thx

decided to lower price of car to $14k
this is an obo price, but any budging on price will also come at expense of taking stereo stuff out of package
also pulling extras off the table such as the extra set of speedline wheels
also mentioning, got clutch hydraulic bleed/refilled other week. Didn't help the clutch sticking to the floor after extended WOT activity. And actually is a bit worse if you hold 1st for extended period like when I log data for HPT and trying to hit diff cells. Then go to shift it's not happy with that. However, normal WOT run 1-2 shift is fine. So if you buy car plan to upgrade clutch/hydraulics. Car is fine and driveable now, no clutch slip, but the hydraulics are crap from the factory, and the headers haven't helped the situation. We added some shielding, but that's not helping, nor did the castrol synthetic dot3 or 4 we put in.
I'm not trying to scare anyone off by describing the problems of the car, but I'm a person who'd rather be upfront and lose a potential sale vs selling a car and having things on my conscience or having someone pissed at me b/c they thought I was shady. This IMO is a damm good price for a real WS6 that is in decent shape. Just needs some completion of the project I started and it will be a real ripper.
I bought this car last year with every intention of making it a real mean street machine. I've poured ALOT Of $$$ into it putting the heads/cam/intake/injectors/headers/cat back, fuel pump(255+ lph) gaskets etc.... into it. If you want a stock idle and stock mpg car this isn't for you. If you want an easy powerband car, this isn't for you! If you want a car with 425+ rwhp potential once tuned, THIS IS A CAR FOR YOU! I have no doubt with a proper tune on a WB setup this car will put down 425-440rwhp. The idle is just plain sick, one of the best sounding cars I've heard. The power at WOT is decent currently, and will improve once tune is sorted out. After tune I would expect alot of the part throttle niggles to be worked out as well. IT's not a sputterbox, don't think it can't run and drive down the road fine. I'd trust it to drive cross country. However, off idle, it should have some more torque, and that will need to be achieved in the tune I think. I've logged the car, and I'm pretty lost at this point. I don't want to start changing things in the tune w/out knowing what I'm doing, and I don't have a WB o2 sensor to truely id the problem areas of the tune.
For those of you entertaining the thought of offering a $ price. Keep in mind it's a real WS6, it's got 42k miles, and is pretty close to being finished project and an 11sec car. Don't lowball me a 8 or 10k price and think you'll get a WS6 for that.
Thanks for looking guys!

update! have more pics I took yesterday after getting a few minutes to wash it up. I also got my title from the safety dep box, so it's in hand for those that might come to buy it. I did notice on title that it said like 43,xxx miles on title, so car might have 44k miles or so now.
