I am selling my 1971 TWIN TURBO CHEVELLE! It is the Fastest and only
Twin Turbo LS1 powered 71 Chevelle in the world. (Unless someone has one
hiding away somewhere!)
This car was built to drive, it is not a trailer car or show queen. It
is a nice all around car that is a serious performer. It has an all
aluminum LS1 engine and automatic tansmission that is manually shifted.
It idles smooth and quiet at only 725 rpm!
Be the first one on your block to say you have 1000 hp!
Lets talk power!
Power is adjustable from 600 hp to 1000 hp on only 93 octane pump
gas. With race gas the car could make close to 1300 hp if that is what
you want! Car can cruise nice and comfortable at 75 mph with the 3.08
rear gears and will spin the tires at any speed if you want. Power comes
on smooth and predictable and is easy enough for the wife to drive
around in, but when you want to go fast, hold on for life!
How turbo power works!
Turbo power is not what most people are used to. It is not loud,
glugy, violent or gas guzzling. The motor is very quiet, It is the
quietest muscle car in town.
The power comes on based on load.
Example:
If you are cruising along, you are just putting around with an 8:1
compression 5.7 litre engine. The car only uses just the power it need
to keep moving along. This gives you great mileage and reliability. When
you start to push hard on the gas pedal the power rises, the faster you
push the pedal down the faster the power rises, if you mash it, you have
instant full power.
Can you adjust the power?
Sure can! Boost changes based on what gear your in. This makes the
full power setting more controllable when you are trying to go fast
quickly. Boost controll is preset electronically, or, it can be adjusted
to suit your needs. Again, boost is adjustable from 600 hp to 1000 hp on
93 octane. Sky is the limit with race gas.
This is not a race car, it is a state of the art street machine.
There is no tuning, or upkeep needed for this car, just turn the key and
go, just like your everyday driver!
Car had a complete frame off restoration about 6 years ago and is not
driven in rain or snow. I keep in stored indoors whenever it is not
driven. The car is nice, but not flawless. I DRIVE IT! In fact, I have
to try not to drive it, its way too much fun!
Some basic specs:
The car has 4 wheel disc brakes and has 17 centerline wheels all around. I run a 315/35/17 drag radial.

Very slick. Love everything about the car except maybe the salad shooters. Other than that, I'd be proud to park that in my garage. Bump for you!

How bout an IOU nitro? I remembered your welding threads with the headers! This car is well worth 55k and I'm sure you'll see nearly that or all of it. Good luck with the sell...here's a bump.

Go price a restored '71 base Chevelle and then tell us which one is worth more. I sold my '69 SS for $60K cash with an LS1 under the hood. It would have been worth about $35K fully restored with the original engine in it.
