I've decided I want a new car to work on and make a show car. So here we go...
I have a Camaro that started off as a stock 1998 Z28 M6 (six speed), 130K mi on the body, clean title. There is less than 3,000 miles on the rebuilt / new parts. Almost everything has been replaced or rebuilt, new seals/gaskets. No leaks. It runs perfect, no problems at all. I'd honestly drive this car across the US and not worry. Dyno'd 385RWHP, 384RWTQ with stock heads! Easily pick up another 40RWHP w/ good flowing heads. It's a show car that has won 1st place at the 2007 Super Chevy show in Fontana, CA (trophy & winners jacket to prove it), 1st place at the 2007 40th Anniversary F-Body car show in Torrance, CA (trophy to prove it), Best Engine Bay of the Chilis / St Jude Car show, LaVerne, CA (trophy to prove it). It was featured in the 2007 July issue of Camaro Performers with a 5 page article (magazine to prove it), here's the link to the article that's also on Super Chevy's web site: http://www.superchevy.com/features/c...z28/index.html
Here's the list of whats been done to it (that I can remember
)
Whoa, I just added up all the extra parts that are on my Camaro and the total is a little shocking to say the least
-I have $4,000 in receipts that I can find for new parts... which doesn't include half the stuff on this list or labor!
-Dyno tune at A&A Corvette, they also installed a new GM slave cylinder. ($1,109)
-Rebuilt engine (receipts to prove it). ($1,200) I've put about 2,500mi on the rebuilt engine.
-TR224 112LSA Cam. ($390)
-SLP Double Roller timing chain. ($150)
-Comp Cams Chromemoly pushrods. ($140)
-Prothane poly motor mounts, trans mount and torque arm mount.($100)
-ARP stud kit, stock heads. ($300)
-Comp Cams 918 Springs. ($200)
-LS6 intake manifold, custom painted. ($400)
-Ported LS6 oil pump. ($160)

-Full set of polished Specialized Stainless covers. ($300)
-Pacesetter ceramic coated long tubes w/ Percy's Aluminum Gaskets. ($440)
-Corvette O2 extensions > Pacesetter Y-pipe > QTP electric cut out. ($250)
-Ram HD clutch w/ new adjustable master and slave cylinder. ($1,000)
-Pro 5.0 Power Tower shifter with Lou's Short Stick & leather SLP ****. Metal shift boot retainer. ($300)
-Harlen Shift Light w/ red LED's in defroster vent. ($60)
-Engine bay is signed by Scott Settlemier. (pricless
)
-PPG 3 stage black paint, no orange peel like stock ($8,000)
-California Car Cover, Noah. ($230)
-OEM SS Hood off a 20K mi 2002 black SS Camaro. ($800)
-OEM SS Spoiler off a 20K mi 2002 black SS Camaro. ($300)
-OEM SS Center Mount Exhaust (CME) w/ original stainless steel duel/duel muffler off a 20K mi black SS Camaro. ($1,500)
-T-Tops.
-Billet grille. ($75)
-Custom 35th Anniversary Stripes (decals). ($250)
-17 x 9.5 front ZR1's with Michelin Pilot Sports. ($700)
-17 x 11 rear Zr1's with 335 wide Michelin Pilot Sports, 90% tread left ($1,400)
-Gorilla lug nuts w/ lock front & rear. ($50)

-Arizen Premium black leather front seats. ($900)
-Ebony rear seats and interior panels, new carpet w/o sound deadening, new floor mats. ($500)
Total: $22,354 in just extra parts!!
I've done TONS of work to the engine bay... some of the things you don't normally see is I welded in all the holes that weren't being used, re-painted the engine bay, polished stainless bolts/washers, polished mass air flow & throttle body, ect. I've done a lot of work to this car overall; was stock except for wheels/shocks & paint when I bought it. You won't be disappointed! I have TONS of pictures, let me know if there's something you want a pic of.
The only things that are wrong w/ the car is a 2" scratch on the passenger quarter panel that's covered up w/ some touch up paint, 1" chip on the passenger side sail panel (bottom edge), a couple little "fish eyes" in the paint on the passenger side front fender, ac is not charged (never recharged after the rebuild because I was going to get a bypass pulley), the steering knuckle rubs the drivers side header a little (I've gotten used to it but if it bothers you you can dent the header a little or just get a new header) and the air bag light is on even though both air bags are there.
I want to trade even for a Corvette, not too picky. I would prefer around 60K mi or lower, stock engine, and a '98+. But since I have to have a price: $20,000
I live in Upland, CA (between the 10 & 210, 15 & 57 freeways). You can call me at: (909) 331-6752 or email me at: toofazt@gmail.com
I probably forgot something but just let me know if you have any questions![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
Thank you, Steve Yoast.

I think he just wants to trade for a vette. He said he has to put a price so he put 20 grand. Its worth it. The original has alot of miles but like he said everything has been rebuilt or replaced. So its like a new car
