Default Price Dropped - One of a kind!!! HOSS Vert, C5-R Blocked 427

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...reset_crumbs=y

Price dropped to $24,500 one of the fastest T-56, pump gas, street legal verts in the country!!!
http://s55.photobucket.com/albums/g1...hugger1320.flv

I've owned this HOSS since 1999!!!

Hugger Orange SS Vert, C5-R Blocked 427 with forged internals, face plated T-56 (5th and 6th gears deleted), 3:73 Moser 12 bolt spool, suspension and chassis fully modified for street/strip, NX Direct Port with dedicated fuel cell, mad man's manual rack, mad man's chassis mounted torqe arm, Bogart D-10 wheels, custom 10 point role cage by Steel Concepts, HVAC delete, Engine built by Performance Motors, T-56 built by Liberty Transition, Suspension and Chasses by Vettes and Performance. The car puts down 525 RWHP / 525 RWTQ naturally aspirated and over 700 RWHP / 750 RWTQ on a 200 shot of Nitrous. The car has seen very little track time. Fastest time was a 9.90 @ 142 MPH. Now I just cruise around town on nice days.

Updates:

Making the car more street focused yet easy to put back to its 9 second form...cause if it doesn't sell, I'm going on some long top down drives this spring

Bogart D-10's are gone, replaced with Fikse Profil 5S (9.5 x 17) with new MTDR.

Car is still wired and plumbed for Nitrous including Nitrous Dave’s custom DP intake; however, the standalone fuel tank, nitrous bottles, and nano kits are gone.

3:73 spool is being replaced with 3:91 positrack

The race seats are gone...putting the white leather front seats back in. Back seats are in storage (8 point cage).

Will be replacing the liberty faced plated tranny once it sales with a built t-56

Car still has a mad man manual rack, anti-roll bar (easy to connect back to chassis), chassis mounted torque arm, custom lower control arms, adj. pan hard, Qa1 dual adj. up front single out back all with light weight springs, etc, etc, etc.

$24,900 is a stupid low price...especially for a C5-R blocked 427 HOSS vert with Fiske Profil 5S wheels.

Thanks,

Ron

Jeez, I remember seeing this and drooling after buying headers and hooker catback from you (later to find out it already had a corsa on it lol). Beautiful car. I just wish it were a hardtop lol

Just curious... how much did the block run you? What about the total engine assembly?

Best of luck selling... bump for you. PM me if need be -- didn't mean to hijack.

Thanks for the comments guys. This car is priced right and built to the hilt, always garaged and covered, the hugger orange paint (original) is unbelievable. And getting the car ready for the track or nitrous will take minimal effort/cost.

maybe you didn't see the replies above, but those two links in the first thread do NOT work. Please replace them with working links, it might be more helpful. Those appear to be copy-pasted from a shortened screen version of the original links.

awesome vid. Any better photos of the interior/cage and the Fikse wheels? Maybe host them up on a free fquick.com page.

http://rides.webshots.com/album/6206...=rides&start=0

added some pics with the Fikse's...not great but they will have to do for now. As you can see, the interior needs some love as a result of the rear seat delete and the custom 8 point cage install.

If the car doesn't sell, I'll probably have the cage cut out, front bumper bracket bolted back in, white leathers seats re-installed (I had my speed shop cut out all back seat related brackets as shown in photos), and install new carpet. Trunk will be restored including; spare tire, carpet, and battery to stock location.

This should be a fairly cost neutral restoration through the sale of parts I just don't need for the street with a 427, i.e. nitrous standalone fuel tank, NX bottle, NANO kit, lightweight drag springs, QA1's, drag seats, etc.

Ron
