FS: 2006 Corvette M6 - buildup featured in GMHTP
***PRICE UPDATED 7/23/08***
Owned since new by GMHTP contributing editor Chris Werner (me) - I love this car, but it's time to move on to other projects, and I am determined to find it a great new home!
The basics: 2006 Corvette coupe, 6.0L LS2, 6-speed manual, only options are Monterey Red Metallic paint and polished aluminum wheels. Currently 17,XXX miles. Car is located in Franklin Lakes, NJ.
Here's the low-down on mods:
-aftermarket CNC-ported heads
-aftermarket roller rockers
-ARH headers w/catted x-pipe
-VaraRam Snake Charmer induction and throttle body spacer
-CORSA 3" cat-back (VERY throaty ;-))
-Custom tune by TTP
-B&M shifter
-Innovate LC-1 onboard wideband O2.
Immaculate condition, always garaged and has never seen snow. GMHTP articles in which this vehicle has appeared:
"Locked on Target," November 2006
http://www.gmhightechperformance.com...tte/index.html
"Ethereal Rush," March 2007
"Solely Stainless, Totally Tubular," May 2007
http://www.gmhightechperformance.com...ion/index.html
"Preemptive Strike," August 2007
...and an as-yet-unpublished finale coming summer 2008 (hence my not revealing what the "aftermarket" heads or rockers are, or a rwhp number. Interested potential buyers can PM me for those details.)
Asking $39,900. Serious inquiries only please, no trades.

LS1Tech crew,
Chris is the most meticulous guy I know and his vehicles show it. I have no vested interest in "recommending" any of the vehicles seen in the magazine, but having seen and purchased my share of vehicles, buying from a detail-oriented mechanical engineer isn't a bad way to go!

Correct. I had toyed with the idea of a supercharger but did not get around to it. I did not want to put in a cam suited to N/A use and then have to change it with the blower.
The stock cam, of course, is great for a blower. And idles great around town...

Although I have nowhere near the funds to purchase the car and being a meticulous mechanical engineer myself I think some people would like to know if holes have been drilled for that front license plate?

No holes: that's double-sided 3M tape. We take it off and reapply once every few months. It sticks well but also keeps the paint underneath pristine. A quick wipe and you'd never know it was on there!

Nice car...I read about this build up ernestly in the mag. BTW, thanks for including my Vette in the Street Heat section, as my 2000 trans am was a former SH/GMHTP illum as well. Good luck on the sale and here's a TTT for ya.
