Car now for sale. Asking $9,500 OBO and will entertain all offers except lowballs. Trades considered!
This was initially to gauge interest, but now I'm more interested in selling my car. I'm not looking for a quick sell or lowball offers. I'm PCS'ing to Florida, and this gives a lot of you guys the opportunity to get a car you might be interested in without arranging/paying for shipping.
Vitals:
Mods:
Problems:
Car may/will come with:
Other:
The paint condition is consistent with a car of this age - there is spider webbing, road rash up front, very few chips, and about 3x3 section of cracking on the rear bumper. The car will benefit greatly from a detail (something I've been slacking on) and I'll be happy to spend an afternoon with the buyer doing so - I have over $400 in supplies and a PC7336 to get the job done. Unless you're a perfectionist, you could live with the current paint condition long enough to get it fixed.
The car drives great and shifts firm.
I'll be trailering the car with a U-Haul from ID to the Florida keys, so I am willing to deliver to anyone within my route. Depending on the distance and offer, I might be up for going a bit out of my way. When making an offer, I ask that people consider the fact that I'm paying for trailer (about $500) and that they wouldn't have to go through the *** pain of dealing with shippers.
If there's enough interest or if I become more serious about this, I'll post specific pics upon request. When the weather clears up I will add more pics. I haven't taken pics of my car since I got back from deployment except for when I picked it up from an autobody shop which looked after it for me while I was gone. That's the pic that's attached.
There are two people from the board that are stationed at the same base - silversweetZ and Nick D. I don't know them personally but you're welcome to seek them for a third-party opinion.
KBB lists the car at $9,780 in good condition. Wish it was still worth 14... damn depreciation! All comments and offers welcome!

Problems:
- Minor accident from previous owner - front passenger side was hit. Car was sold to me with a slightly misaligned fender and a bent headlight bracket. I had both REPLACED (previous owner did a repair) and both are now perfect.
- Weakening passenger window motor
- SES light (last diagnostic pointed to O2 sensors)
- Moderate road rash up front due to shitty ID roads
- Cracking on rear bumper paint (unknown cause)
- Small dimple on driver side quarter panel (torque dimple?)
- Blown driver side speaker
- Tint on driver window starting to peel
- Mysterious switch next to shifter which looks like a once-functional SLP fan switch (does not work)

- OEM headlights
- Stock hood and spoiler at buyer's shipping expense

- Set of black Gorilla locking lug nuts w/ key if I don't install them any time soon
- Two keys w/ remote
Other:
- Car is driven as an every-other-day DD with the Mustang GT in my sig.
- I fill up on premium only
- Oil was changed at least every 5000 miles with Mobil 1
- I am the second owner starting at 64k on the clock with no accidents
- About all of my mods are appearance because I lack know-how and buddies who are handy in an engine bay. I had enough trouble with the front shocks/springs!
- Car drives perfect (I've driven many a worn LS1)
- As far as I know, there are no other internal mods or bolt-ons
- Considering selling due to rising gas prices plus I want to start thinking about Corvettes!

Yes, the car could use a vacuum which I'll probably do tomorrow. I wrapped the wheel in a leather skin from WheelSkins and it's beginning to showing wear but is still in good condition. There's dust everywhere - tired of fighting the war on dusty Idaho air.
The cord you see sticking from the cassette slot is a tape adapter. Yes, I will throw it in with the car so the buyer isn't stuck listening to cassettes from the 80s.![Icon Lol](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/icon_lol.gif)
The passenger window control bezel is cracked. The interior light in the rear is missing the cover, but the bulb is still in there (I never realized it until now!). The seatbelts are partially unmounted as shown in pics. I won't throw in the mounting hardware, but if you're intent on replacing the rear seats you'll know what to get anyway.
T-top holders in place and the car will come with sunshades. No stealth box setup in case anyone was wondering.
As for the CarFax, PM me for the VIN and I'll let you run your own. There isn't enough interest in the car for me to post a copy, but I'll tell you right now that all that's on there is the minor accident I mentioned and the mileage at the time of change of owners.
Thanks for looking! If there are any other Qs, ask away.
