A fun little car that you don't see anymore. I had originally bought this as a parts car last spring. After I got it in the garage I couldn't bring myself to part it out. It sure needed a lot of work just to get roadworthy. The body wasn't too bad on the outside but the floors were rusted out. I cut out and replaced the floors, all new brakes(I mean the brakes needed everything), upgraded to the larger Shelby Charger front brakes. New struts, fuel and brake lines, timing belt, belts and hoses, carb rebuilt, AC system(it was missing the compressor and hoses), and so much more. I had fun last summer driving this instead of my truck when gas was $4. Call me anytime after 10:30 AM CST. Cell#612-708-8015 Brad. Here's a couple before and after photos. No it hasn't been repainted. The white paint is getting thin. I did sandblast the bottom 4" of both sides of the car and spray it with white stoneguard.

It's just the carbed 2.2. If it doesn't sell, I guess I'll try my mad fab skills at installing an M62 supercharger I have laying around. I've already been toying with the idea and I have a spare engine in the garage so I can do it on an engine stand first.

Well, I've only had a couple calls on it so I decided to start fabricating the install of an M62 supercharger I got last summer at the U pull it yard. The intake manifold/adapter plate is welded up so now I'll start setting up the belt drive and carb adapter. I really do like driving the car and I'll probably regret it after I get that finished and then it sells. You know how it is, I have enough cars so I hope it'll eventually make someone else happy.

Ok, I finally got around to working on installing the supercharger. It's running, just have to tinker with it some more and take it for a drive. I ended up tearing the motor down while I was at it, the compression check wasn't good so It needed to be freshened up. The cylinder walls were fine so I just had to run the hone through them. New rings, bearings, gaskets, and more. I also changed out the 4 speed for the 5 speed so a new clutch of course. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3330158 Check the link, can't seem to upload pics right now.
