i am for sure down for this, i love the classes, i think it brings a lot of different players into the game, not just bad *** street cars, but the stockers too, which is cool, i am in if we go to the classes and classes only, bracket racing is a waste of time and money.

I'm thinking the first or second weekend in April might be good. Or the first or second weekend in March, if the March Meet doesnt conflict.
Why all the hate for bracket racing? Unless you have a 9 second car, you arent winning every heads up race against cars you dont know. I hate the stab-and-steer 14+ second stock cars that dominate bracket racing, but otherwise, I have no problem with it.

No offense...but
You don't like bracket racing, but who are you going to beat heads up with these #'s
328 rwhp/364 rwtq
13.18 @ 107.90 mph
You need bracket racing or a race engine. A little practice time in the seat wouldn't hurt either. Experience is a great thing. Not to be taken lightly.

Before my converter on street tires my car went 12.7. How would you hold your own to cars like that? That was lid muffler no suspension or weight reduction what so ever.

I second the need for a bracket class, regardless of others who think it's stupid. Brackets are the great equalizer in drag racing and makes it fun for everyone. Now I can understand frustration for bracket racing when the bracket classes have that 1978 Lincoln Continental that runs 19.87 every single time out, and wins. But hey, knowing how to getting repeatable consistent performance, and making adjustments for conditions, is king for that class - you gotta be on your game.

Well I had to buy a new laptop cause the virus my computer caught completely shut down windows, made my keyboard stop working and even turned my computer on from a hibernate status by itself every 10 minutes!!!! f-in crazy.....
So I'll be on more and try to get more info up. First off I want to get the governing body together for both socal and norcal... I'll be making some phone calls to get some input on who we want those people to be. I'm thinking 3 from each area so 6 total. I'll send out some PM's and we'll get a governing body, swap phone #'s so we can talk offline and establish some hardcore rules.
Me personally I would like to have bracket racing included. And from me that's ALOT cause I absolutely hate it. my car was built for heads up racing and nothing else. It isn't consistent but it's fast...
HOWEVER, Brackets let everybody play. I do however want to have indexed headsup classes besides the outlaw class which is run whatcha brung and hope you brung enough (with rules however like no backhalf, no tube chassis, etc)..... I think everything else should be indexed. 10.50, 11.50, 12.50.....
Or we can do class based stuff. Like street stock, bolt ons, naturally aspirated, single power adder, and outlaw..... we can also have a 6 speed class if there is enough interest in who's the fastest gear rower on the left coast.....

Looking forward to this and can't wait to participate!!! Like I said before a combination of classes would be great. I also think no matter what the classes are no backhalf cars and none of this delay box, throttle stop ****!!!
I think one Outlaw class would be great and a couple of other classes like N/A, Single Power Adder, etc... I think 3 heads up index classes make sense, 10.0, 11.0, and 12.0. Then we could have 1, maybe 2 Bracket Racing classes for cars that run between 11.50 and 13.99 and 14.00 and up. I think this breaks it up nicely as you will have 3-4 specific heads up classes, 3 heads up index classes, and 1-2 bracket classes.
Outlaw, et al... Thoughts???
