Default Any weightlifters/powerlifters in here?

Just curious if anyone's into weightlifting or powerlifting, hell even bodybuilding. I've been lifting for little over a year now, iraq got me into it.

6'2" 235lbs

Deep squat 370
Bench 335
Deadlift 500

I think I started out something like... 205 on bench, 245 on squat, and 300 on deadlift. at 195 lbs

nice! if i could get my squat up to where you're at I could probably pull 545-565. I've only been doing legs for about 8 months though, didn't want my legs all sore going on patrol everyday in iraq. I did 335 on bench way back in september, but saw a guy tear his peck at only 365 so I just incline bench now.

i've seen people get hurt like that. it's because they learn the horrible technique of dropping the weight on their chest and trying to bounce it off.

BCAAs, whey isolate, creatine mono. just basic generic **** from nutraplanet. I just starting lifting again after a full month off, strength is still down a bit, but the staminas getting back where it was. New stretch marks on both bi's already... I've put on 5 pounds of water in 10 days from the creatine.

the scary thing about the torn pec guy was he was a real juicer that could max 465 on the bench. he was just doing a warm up set at 365 when it tore

ive never liked creatine personally. all it does is make your muscles retain water. after a week its out of your system. but whatever works for you. look into muscle milk. it did wonders for me

that's not true creatine is great. more water = more surface area of cells = more protein synthesis = more muscle growth. creatine has virtually no side effects when taken properly and it's actually recommended that elderly take creatine supplements daily.... i could go on forever about the stuff.

it could have happened due to a lot of factors. he could have been training too intensely, had a lingering injury
