No joke, the OPs car is GONE, taken right before he was about to move it. The thieves having been seen did not have the effect of scaring them off. On the contrary, they probably ramped up their efforts to steal the car ASAP before the OP could take measures.

Yes, your statement about how racking a shotgun is enough to scare away a thief is terrible, terrible advice. How do you know that the person is simply a common thief? The assumptions you are making are very dangerous.
The fact that I have guns to help defend myself and my family if I truly needed to has nothing to do with your statement that I mentioned above. You don't want to assume anything in a scenario like that. To give people advice that they will be safe enough simply pumping a shotgun to scare away intruders/thieves is simply not a good idea.

I have seen the car several times and it is very well know on the "other board".
My question is why put a 9 sec GN outside? I mean those cars are very popular with the sticky finger crowd. And to leave it outside especially after spending so much on mods is kinda stupid to me.
Better yet, why post on a LS site? I want a link to the GN board showing all this drama.
