The better shops are strictly perf., rpm, cms. CMS is the closest to you. Rynes prices are good and if you need the tune updated later he doesnt charge you for another tune...the price that is charged by te better places for a tune seems high but its well worth it to have someone who knows what they are doing.

CMS is a good shop all the staff are friendly and they will work with you to make sure you get your money's worth. There is Excelsior Motorsports in San Diego and they are a "strictly" Corvette shop, but they are not for grassroots car guys, ($$$).

CMS is really your best bet. Everyone on here is going to say that for the most part, with the exception of a few knuckle heads. There is Haddad up in LA area, and a few guys I know of swear they are the next best thing to Jesus. I have heard great things about Excelsior Motorsports, and they almost exclusivly do Vettes, but again like someone else mentioned, you are going to pay quite a bit. I think at least $500 for a tune. Don't quote me on that, but I think that is thier going rate. If you are really looking for other options other than Ryne (not sure why, but it's your car) then call them and get a quote.

Another vote for CMS.
They've tuned my car (315RWHP bone stock), did the gears, and hopefully, they'll get to do LTs on it this week.
They keep doing a great job, and I keep coming back. Can't ask for more.

Ha! One of my good friends told me that same thing before he took his car to get tuned by Kushan. $2k + and a several useless parts later, his car is still running rough and his a/t tranny still doesn't shift right. Kushan told him he didn't pay for a tranny tune.
So the moral is "you don't always get what you pay for." Stick to CMS and let's not forget, CMS are sponsors here.
