18s vs 19s on the rear of an f-body

I'm looking at doing 18 x 8.5 rims on the front, and am trying to decide whether to go with 18 x 9.5s, or go 19 x 11 on the rear, which is where I am leaning. Any pics out there of 19/18 combinations? Which tire are you guys running on the 19s without issues? Seems like there aren't allot of choices in 19" tires out there. Thanks for any help.

I have 19x11 on the rear...they fit fine. I have 305/30/19 Nitto Invo tires, I am happy with them.

i was considering the samething until i seen the tire selection on the 19's, there is way more to choose from with 18's.

Id definitely do 18's man. not a big fan of staggered look.. but custom your car is sweet bro.

Ya, the more I am looking, there is definitely a much wider tire choice in 18s. My first post should have said 19 x 10s, not 11s, BTW. I have had 295s on a 9.5 wide rim before, is that the widest to safely go with a 9.5 wide rim?

If you're going with 18s in the rear go with at least a 10" wide wheel, which is the minimum recommended wheel width for a 295/35/18, or better yet a 10.5" so you can run 315's if you want.
