Default RPM 505's on a Trans Am

After seeing the pictures of the RPM wheels on josh99ta's car, I decided to pull the trigger and get them for the Trans Am that I just picked up. Like Josh, I went with the 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 wheels with 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 Nexen tires. The wheels look great and fit the car very well. I also purchased them from Wheel Studio for $1400 delivered. The only issue I had is that they forgot to include the hubcentric rings, which will be here later this week. Other than that mistake, the service has been outstanding!

After slaving over getting the paint in decent shape this weekend, here is what the car currently looks like. I will be lowering it soon and looking to add a WS-6 hood...that's all, as this is my daily driver. Please excuse the bad photography skills, it is one of my weaknesses!

UPDATED PICTURES OF THE CAR ON PAGE 2 (lowered)

Wheels look amazing on there. I love them on the vert. I was working on my car today and caught a glimpse of the wheels out of the corner of my eye, and I swear they are very Fikse-esque, for a fraction of the cost. I love the FM10s, some of the best looking F-Body wheels out there IMO, but for the price I love these wheels just as much.

Thanks for the compliment. That is the neighbor's house...it is definitely big. Mine is behind the car in this picture and isn't too bad but does not have the facade of some of the other homes in the neighborhood. Just behind us Donovan McNabb is building a MONSTER of a house. It is going to take about three years to build and is somewhere around 15,000 square feet plus a basement.

Thanks Josh and I agree with you completely. These wheels definitely look very nice for the money. I have had iForged, CCW's and HRE's and while they all looked great there was a lot of work associated with keeping them looking good. These wheels have a finish that looks to be easy to maintain and while having an upscale appearance in terms of quality. Like you, I like the staggered fitment and the big lip on the back as opposed to the same size wheels front and back. Thanks for posting your pictures, it helped me make a good decision!

McNabb lives in Arizona in the offseason, has for many years. The wheels look great. I miss my HP evos when I see these pics.

Those look sick. I have owned tons of forged, expensive wheels... and I think if you consider price and looks, those wheels would win. Yea, a nice set of forged wheels with the right design, finish look KILLER, but for the price tag they aren't so killer.

I am buying the same ones for my newish silver TA I just bought. After the headaches I had with my last set of three piece wheels I told myself I wasn't going to do that crap again.

Thanks for making my mind up

I was thinking of buying the new deep dish ZR1's. The silver ones on ebay were $738 plus 250 for shipping. After it's all said and done you have 1000 in a set of 17's. For 1400 these things are a steal.

Their is nothing better than getting wheels and tires dropped off, that are already mounted and balanced.

Is there any difference between these and the Evos?
