Any info will be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Also I read that tire height differences will disable ABS on f-body's...Will the proposed setup make this happen? (Im planning on using the Eagle F1 DS-G3's)
You will be fine. the TT'2 are built for f-cars in the correct offsets. The tires you describe have the exact same overall diameter so ABS will not be affected.

I am not aware of any 315's for 18" diameter wheels . . . .

C6 replica's
18x10.5's +56 out back 7.94" backspacing
18x9.5's +56 for the front 7.45" backspacing
I don't mind using the BFH

Does the backspacing matter since we know the offset?

This is all hypothetical since i don't have an f body again, yet.

Wheels confuse me.

You need to know either offset OR backspace, not necessary to have both. The two are related, but not calculated exactly from each other.

Offset is the distance front the center line of the wheel to the backside of the lug mounting plate.

Backspace is the distance from the back surface of the wheel to the backside of the lug mounting plate.

The only unknown factor to calculate one from the other is the thickness of the rear mounting bead.

Yes wheels get confusing, that is why we are here to try to help.

Sorry: yes. The fronts will be just fine, I used to run that offset. The Backs, may nned a little bit of BFH, not much. I used to run a 58 mm offset in that size out back.

OK, so if I want the wheels flush with the outer fender lip front and rear on a 1.5" drop, what spacing do I need for 18X9.5/275 and 18X10.5/285 rims and tires?

I know there is a "range", but I prefer to be dead on if possible.

Thanks!

Mine are both 38 mm offset.

18" x 9.5" with a 275/35ZR18 front, 18" x 10.5" with a 295/35ZR18 rear.

Looks real good- Any problem with the ABS with the different size F/R tires? I know its minimal, but there is a difference of what, about 1/4 inch?- just curious if you have encountered any problems?

No issues with ABS. Probably the max OD difference I would ever run on my car.

Does anyone run 275/40-18s on their Camaro? I was on Goodyear's website, comparing GSD3 OD and widths. I noticed that my 245/50-16 have an OD of 25.7 inches, but 275/35-18s have an OD of 25.5 ??? THe 275/40-18 GSD#s have an OD of 25.7 inches. THat would lead me to believe that the 275/40-18 are a better (more comfortable) ride that the 35 series? not to mention that I was running a 3.42 gear with the 16 tires, but my new Moser 12 bolt has 3.73 gears, so I dont know what the RPM differences will be.

You have a bit of missinformation:

A 275/40ZR18 is 26.8" in overall diameter.

Oops, you are right, I was looking as the GSD3 EMT instead of the regular GSD3 (why the hell would it have a different OD?).

Still the 275/35-18 (25.6) has a smaller diameter than the 245/50-16 (25.7)? I mean its only .1 inch but that still surprised me. So a 275/40-18 (26.8) should be able to fit ok, right? My car is not dropped at all. I wanted to get wider wheels in the back, so I could use 295/35-18 (26.1) but I'm not sure how more more contact area I will get by doing so.

Also, If I went 295's in the back and 275 up front, are teh differences in OD enough to cause problems with the ABS? I've heard different diameter tires can cause false ABS inop errors.

I like how the 38 mm offset fits in your fenders. What backspacing do those wheels have?
