Ok well I have a 2001 Z and was thinking of getting some 18s/17s cheap and get them powdercoated. I have stock tires/wheels now. Was looking to get 275/35R18 all around or 275/40R17 front and 275/35R18 in rear.

I found some cheap factory c5 wheels with the 18/9.5 rear and 17/8.5 front combo. All sounds good until the offset business . The fronts are 57 and the rears are 65. Yes I read the first post and yes I am still lost, lol. Will these wheels work? Or am I gonna need to do some modding?

Thanks

Well first off a 275/40ZR17 does not fit on a 8.5" wide wheel . . . you'd need to runs a 245/45ZR17.

The 57 offset is fine, will be a bit tucked in but doable.

The 65 mm offset will need spacers, of at least 1/2".

Ok, time to dump the aluminum snowflake rims i want chrome.....what SIZE rims do I need?

NOT changing tires.....so please don't refer to get bigger tires!! LOL

Anyway, current tire size all round..

P245/50/ZR16 Yokahams, and hopefully no modding necessary, just put on rims and drive home!

Thanks for the info!

Will 18x9.5 +57mm offset, replica c6 z06s, wrapped in 275/35/18 on all 4 corners fit with no problems (ie. hammering + spacers).

Seeing that it is pretty unrealistic to read through 30 pages of information, I thought I would just make another post that has probably been answered 400 times in this thread...

I am about to buy a couple of ZR-1's (17x11 w/50 offset) for my 1999 SS and slap a couple of 315/35/17 tires on there (just those cheap Sumitomo HTR Z's for now). What I want to know is, just how extensive this "BFH" mod is? Just its name alone is intimidating, so I would assume the actual mod is somewhat violent to the car. Also, will any fender rolling be needed? My car is not lowered by the way. These are going on the rear of the car...no road racing for me

Thanks in advance!

Will these wheels fit my 98 Grand Prix GTP?

Bolt Pattern: 5 x 115
Wheel Size: 18 x 8.5
Center Bore: 74.1
ET/Offset: 38

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA:IT&ih=016

If so, will my 275/35/18 tires from my 18 x 9 T/A wheels fit on these wheels?

Why don't you spend the time to read the 30 pages and LEARN . . . Or search the forum.

No Idea about the Grand Prix, but the tires DEFINITELY do not fit that sized wheel . . .

The wheel wells of the Grand Prix are not very big . . .

I´m sorry I have to ask....
Will 8,5"x 18" wheels with ET 38 fit a Camaro 98 wich is 2" closer to the ground? I have ET 40 now on 8"x20" rims and it is very close to the fender.
Actually it has touched the fender.

Well your width is getting wider and the offset smaller, so the wheel/tire will be even closer to the wheel well lip . . .

Here's one that has prolly been asked, but I really don't have the time nor energy to skim through 15 pages.
97 bird lowered 1.5". Want to put 17x10 out back with 315's or 325's. Put 17x9 up front with 275's. I don't mind doin the BFH mod.
This gonna work?
