I needed to make sure about the 15x10 draglites for the 00' Camaro.
15x10 with 7.5 backspacing on a 28x10.5 slick. Will this have any rubbing issues or need break caliper grinding?
Thanks!

hey guys im new to this forum but anyways i just read through about 18 pages on here trying to figure out if im getting the right offset for my new rims and if my tire sizes are correct
c6 zo6 replicas
front:17x8.5 49mm offset (i've read on here the ideal offset is suppost to be 38 would 49 work?)
rear:18x9.5 50mm (50 is the ideal offset for the rear correct?)
Tire sizes i want to go w/
front: 275/40/17
rear: 285/40/18
95' T/A lowered 1"
i know you guys are prob getting tired of answering Q's like this^ but i figured one more wouldnt hurt
and i REALLY want to get the right rims the first time since i've been saving money for this for a long time
will these offsets i listed look good(tires flush w/the fender)
the rims on it now give the car an aggresive stance and i kinda want to keep it like that but w/ different rims

Ok, just dropped off my chrome ttii's in 17x 9.5 w/275/40-17 and 17x11 w315/35-17, tires are Sumitomo HTR Z's. After waiting 3 weeks on my 315's (Tom ran out!!) now I have to wait 2 days to get them all mounted up, but this is the best tire guy in my home town so I don't mind waiting a few more days....
BTW- For those thinking of buying some 315's, apparently these are getting hard to find cause the brand I bought is in the process of changing them, so what's in stock now may be the last ones for a while...but I found a vendor that has some in stock if anyone needs some, PM me, great price too, get them while you can.
Can't wait!

Both will fit. They will ride in the wheel wells very similar to stock wheels.

only reason i was going w/ 275's in the front is because i have two brand new tires in the garage that are that size for 17'' rim
anyways i will give it sum more thought before i buy the rims maybe try to sell these and get sum smaller tires for the front or go w/ 18/19'' staggerd rim setup instead of 17/18''
thanx much

I'm a complete noob when it comes to tires. I remember a commercial for Michelin tires where they were saying the certain tire was great for rainy weather driving that help prevent hydroplaning. Anyone know the tires I'm talking about or can someone recomend good tires for rainy driving?

Thats what I am looking for, the car is mainly a track car for autocross & such, any suggestions on where I could get a set that will work for the track and also just to get there. (Medium to hard compound) I don't relly want to use them on the street any more than I have to, but I may have to from time to time. Price is also a factor, I have to make them last a while. I am fairley new to all this, (so forgive me if I sound stupid) I have had my dads Porsche out a time or two, but my Camaro is apart right now, so I'm just getting started.

275/40 17, If you had to make a choice between Hankook Ventus K104 or Falken 452's
what would you go with? spirited driving, no track running.
honest personal opinions. my BFG's are chit

yeah I was until about a week ago.
come to find out though it was not the tires that failed
but rather large square headed nails stuck between the rim and the sidewall on two of my tires, they wouldnt hold air pressure for the past few months and that explained why.
I went ahead and bought new BFG's from discount tire today via the bay. g-force sports this time around. bye bye 3 yr old kdw's
