Arrow How Do You Get 18s To Fit? Going To Get Rid of My TTMs

I am looking at the C6 wheels. Front= 18x8.5 (46mm) and the rears are 18x10.5 (56mm)

My TTMs fit fine. Front= 17x9 (45mm) and the rears are 17x10.5 (44mm)..

So how can I get the 18s to fit? I am at stock ride height for now. But I am looking at the Strano or Pro Kit to lower the car.

Also what size tire can I put on an 8.5" wheel? and same thing, what size tire can I fit on an 18x10.5" wheel?

With my TTMs, i am runing 275/40 (front) and 315/35 (rear)

Thanks for the help

I have the same setup but have not bought the tires yet. I'm going with 265/35/18 Nitto 555 for the front. 305/35/18 Nitto drag radials for the rear. I hope it all just goes on with no problem. I guess we'll see.. GL

To get a 18x10.5" wheels to fit at the rear, the wheels must have 53 mm offset or less or a spacer so they will not rub at the fender inner wells.

Currently I'm using 295/35 on my 10.5" width wheels and on my 9.5" width front wheels 275/35.

What wheels do you have? A 275 tire will not fit up front? And a 305 in the back will be fine too

Seeing that the C6 18x10.5 are a +56mm offset, what size spacer will I need? Also what exactly does a spacer do? How does it move the wheel away or towards the centerline?

And will a 275/35 fit on an 8.5" wheel? And for the rear I was thinking a 305/35 for the 10.5" wheel

I have OE Wheels 18X8.5" & 18.10.5" C6 Z07's. The only reason I have not bought tires yet is because I want to make sure I'm getting the right tires because they are SO expensive. I only want to have to do this one time and get it right. I did ALOT of searching and from what I found the combo I listed above should work.

I had 18x10.5 wheels with 295 GSD3s (runs really wide) and had no issues on my 99 SS. I was at stock height though. You *should* do the BFH and roll you fenders. You won't know for sure until you put the tires on though, since every car is different.

Are your wheels OE Wheels or OEM factory Vette wheels ? I think OE makes the wheels like I have to fit right on the F-body as far as offset and all. I'm not sure what my offset's are for sure. We need OE Wheels to come in here..

Are you going to use spacers with your set up? What tires are you looking at? Nittos or BFG?

To the guys trying to just bolt on the 18" x 10.5" rears with a Nitto 305/35/18 555R, I'm at stock ride height and I'm not even close to fitting even with a 1/4" spacer. Going to have to add an adapter to get mine to fit.
