Default billet specialties/c5 brakes??

Does anyone know if a 17" billet specliaties or race star industries fit over c5 brakes? I would think they wil if the 15" will fit stock brakes there is no reason why a 1" larger diameter wouldn't fit a wheel that has 2" large.. Right?

Also wondering if the only 15" that will clear rear fbody brake is the fbody specific race star industries?? I want to do a different bs then 7.5" in either bs or rsi

The Billet Specialties Fbody specific 15x10s clear the rear brakes, as well as Bogarts

I have C5 and looks like if u use rear brakes on frt then BS will work. That is on a 17 inch wheels. BS tells me u need 14.875 clearance for inside wheel for brakes to work. Frt might work but grinding would most like have to happen. Frt brakes on my C5 have 3/4 offset in caliper and has roughly 15 inches total. So it is to close to call.

Yes they are. Backspacing depends on how much you want the tire tucked or sticking out from the fender, also consider what size tire you are running

If you posted the differences in sizes between F-Body and C5 calipers it would be easier to figure out I'd say.

Maybe I wasnt clear but this is for a narrowed rear so 7.5 bs is out of the question

I dont have everything yet but if I new the distence from center to outside edge of caliper I could figure out the required hoop diameter

My 99 C5 frt stock brake are about 7 7/16" to 7 1/2" from center of hub to outer part of caliper. has a positive offset of 3/4" on rotor to outside of caliper.
