Default Nitto Invo's. Popular tires with little reviews? Post your reviews here!

I've definitely been looking into these tires since my Sumitomo HTR Z lll are showing cords (negative camber alignment has been killing me!), but have only been able to find little personal reviews on here. Seems to me that I find more members on this site using these tires, but no one posting why they bought them and how they like them!

Well let's do this once and for all: Nitto Invo owners, post a review of these tires!

Vehicle:

Front tire size:
Rear tire size:

Driving style:
Miles driven on tires:
Drag, autocross, daily driver:

Comfort rating (0-5):
Dry traction rating (0-5):
Wet traction rating (0-5):

Overall review:

I know you Invo owners are on here, so post up a review!

Vehicle: 2000 T/A Mods include Catback, lid, 4.10's and mail order tune.

Front tire size: 275/35/18
Rear tire size: 295/35/18

Driving style: Passive-Aggressive
Miles driven on tires: 500ish
Drag, autocross, daily driver: DD

Comfort rating (0-5): 5
Dry traction rating (0-5): 4
Wet traction rating (0-5): 5

Overall review: The things are amazing for a street tire. Straight line traction seem pretty good (amazing compared to the sumitomo's) and the handling side of them is phenomenal. Not to mention people always ask WTF kind of tires those are with that crazy tread pattern.

Thanks for the review Dr. Tran! That's a sweet looking WS6 you have there. The Invo's definitely look even better with those rims you have on.

Keep the reviews coming! These tires have been used on all types of cars ranging from: Volkswagen's and Mazda's all the way to the beastly ZR1's and Vipers. Seems to me the Invo's are doing something right, let's hear what it is!

i've read a lot of not that great reviews but a lot of the LS1tech community seems to be a fan.

http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...mparison_tests

I bought Dunlap Direzza Star Specs and they are awesome for a street tire as long as it isn't near freezing temps.

How many miles have you put on these tires and how are these tires for overall comfort?

I chose to make a review page on the Invo's because they seem to be a good daily driver tire with good comfort, tire wear, and they get decent dry/wet traction for the driver that doesn't race or autocross.

Vehicle: 06 350z Twin Turbo (Never ran them on more than 9lbs of boost, 423whp.)

Front tire size: n/a
Rear tire size: 275/35/18

Driving style: Passive-Aggressive
Miles driven on tires: 10k
Drag, autocross, daily driver: Drag/DD

Comfort rating (0-5): 5
Dry traction rating (0-5): 4
Wet traction rating (0-5): 4

I bought these for my Z after my BFG DR's lasted only 1200 miles. Not only did they last literally 10x as long, (when I sold them they still had LOTS of tread left) They actually hooked better than the BFG's. These are great street tires. I would DEFINITELY buy them again.

Awesome! Thanks for the review. With a comfort rating of 5, I take it these are definitely one of the quieter tires you've tried?

I'm really digging the ride man, especially those rims! CCW's right?

Nice! Drag racing with these tires? Seems like they are good for all types of applications, not to mention they don't completely break the bank.

Keep the reviews coming!

Vehicle: 1998 Firebird Formula M6 - Lid, Catback, Twin disc, 3.90's, Strano Suspension.

Front tire size: 275/35/18
Rear tire size: 275/35/18

Driving style: Spirited/Aggressive
Miles driven on tires: 3K
Drag, autocross, daily driver: DD/Weekend Fun Car

Comfort rating (0-5): 5
Dry traction rating (0-5): 4
Wet traction rating (0-5): 5

Overall review: When I was looking for new rubber for the new wheels I wanted something that was multipurpose. The Invo's are very quiet which is a plus but not the most important thing to me. Dry traction is very good esp. in cornering as I like to push the car through twisty's and on freeway ramps. The wet weather traction is excellent and I would recommend these to anyone looking for a dry/wet summer tire.

Thanks! Yeah CCW 505A. Those are the only tires I've had on those rims, before that I had the Goodyear Eagle GSD3 on my 17's and they were noisey.

For the Star Specs

Vehicle: 99 Trans Am - 412whp / lowered / konis / etc etc

Front tire size: 245/40/18
Rear tire size: 245/40/18

Driving style: Aggressive
Miles driven on tires: 5k+
Drag, autocross, daily driver: Daily (but sees aggressive driving and has been to the strip)

Comfort rating (0-5): 5
Dry traction rating (0-5): 5
Wet traction rating (0-5): 5

Overall review: I love them. I had Eagle F1 GSD3s, Sumitomo HTR ZIIIs before and these blow them out of the water. They are great in the dry and wet as long as it isn't really cold. They are get really slippery around freezing but they are a hardcore summer tire so I expected that. Only bad thing I had about them is that I sheared two teeth of the ring gear on my 10 bolt at the track with them - lol. The traction is great for a street tire (especially a 245 series).

As far as comfort and noise, I don't think they are bad at all and I take the car on 6+ hr highway trips with no issue. Although, the car is aggressively suspended and definitely not quiet.

I bought them from the tire rack (and had them mounted there) and I was told I would love them by every member of the staff I talked to. I think they were right....
