Default Will these CCW 18x10's work on the front of my Transam?

Did some searching and found a few answers as to they will and they wont but that was a while back so I know prob beating a dead topic. Came across a set of 18x10's and 18x12's cheap. Here is the specs the seller gave to me.

CCW Classics 18x12 & 18x10 staggered

(9 inch backspacing) & (7.5 inch backspacing)

5x120.65 AKA 5x4.75

I know I will prob need a spacer. I also run pro kit eibachs on the front as well. I know the rears will fit as I have ran a 10.5 before and did some banging on the inside and took the bump stops off and ran a spacer. Will the front clear and what kind of tire do you guys suggest? I saw someone was running 295 but dont remember what size sidewall.

Thanks and hope to get some answers from you guys!

Chris

Why would you want that wide of a rim up front? Run a 9" wide with 275. That's plenty wide for the front man.

I run an 18x10 up front. It will be fine. I'm thinking that 18x12 in the rear is going to give you some problems though. Might rub some.

Ya if anything you should worry about the 18x12s more than up front. Ive seen guys run 17x11 on all four that auto-x so it can be done.

Thank you! What size tires do you run in the front?

Well I will have to look into seeing what you have to do to run those rears without doing major modifcations.

Well, I bought a set of Fikse used, which came with tires. Up front, the tires are 265's. When I get new tires, I'll run a 275. A 275 will look fine on a 10 inch wide rim.
