Default car too low? tire/wheel help

I put Race springs on my 2001 ws6 and it lowered it to what I think is perfect, But I have a tunnel bar under the car, which is approx 2-3in off the ground which= me scraping every once in awhile. Right now the car is sitting on 17in stock camaro wheels

My question is: can I put taller/wider tires to raise the car up a little more and what do you guys recommend? Thanks in advance

first off, your stock shocks are gonna be blown very soon. if you put a larger tire on, you will rub. it will add more height to the car but it will probably be worse off in the long run

kinda, your car is super low. from what sam strano says, springs that lower over around 1.2" are losing performance. thats why he sells and raced his at that height. your stock shocks are made for your stock springs, and definately not the ones you have on there now. they could last you forever but they could also blow out at anytime.. if you put a bigger wheel on, you have to remember that you will be higher off the ground, but the tire will also be higher in the wheel well and idk how much room you have now, but its probably not too much

My car is about as low as yours so I know your pain

A taller tire or wheel/tire combo (that fits in the wheel well) will only gain you a half to a full inch at the absolute most... so, really you just need to pick between the slammed look and driving like an old lady or raising the car up

My car has always sat really low and would sometimes scrape the headers when I was rolling on the stock WS.6 wheels. I moved up to 19 inch wheels and haven't scraped at all since.

I'll have to go back and measure the gap but u can see in the last picture that the bracket from the Slp Exhaust is crazy low, If i removed my tunnel bar and I scraped, the exhuast piping would mostly like become a nasty issue

I have to use loading ramps to get my car into my garage because the cement is too steep and I get stuck at the top like a titter tatter lmao

my car used to be about that low, I just added the rear spring isolators back in (if you removed them) and it made enough difference that I rarely scrape anything anymore

The car itself is not really low imo. That exhaust looks like its hanging too low. I'd take all the clamps loose and see if it can be adjust to tuck up better. the red tunnel brace that is low may be part of a torque arm If its not I'd remove it all together and replace it with a Lakewood DS saftey loop/ tunnel Brace, stock one, or if you are feelin crazy just leave it off.
